So basically what I got from this thread is:
Push to delve 8 then start using keys only after 8? I didnt pay too much atention to delves because it was taking a bit too much and the loot was meh for the trouble at 80…

I don’t like doing group content either but if doing even a mythic is easier than a tier 8 and gives same loot, then I might suffer mythics.

I play a lot of solo content, but wooboy are delves boring. It’s maybe slightly more engaging than questing. Plan on getting achievements and getting out of there asap.
Yes. You’ll get crap gear when not using the keys pushing to T8 but definitely hoard them till T8

People were doing this at 580 on th beta so you can solo just going to be a little bit of a challenge but not too much.
yeah but tank would make it 100 times easier you could even speed run them then

Yeah take your tank, push your Warband level in Delves as high as you can (rank is Warband wide) then once the highest rank you can do as a tank is unlocked you can roll in with your DPS classes.

The ideal plan is to pick a non-bountiful Delve, take a tank and grind up to and unlock level 8 delves.
Then go take whatever character you want to the bountiful delves and do them on level 8 and then use your key at the end to get the good loot.
I’m sure many will disagree, but I feel that tier 3 ilevel 554 gear as the cut-off point regardless of the tier you play above tier 3 that is not a bountiful chest is extremely low.
I get that there needs to be progression in terms of the bountiful chests and the Great Vault, but I feel that that stymies a little bit of the progression in terms of just even gearing up to be able to do those tiers of Delves to begin with.
I get that there are heroic dungeons, but not everyone wants to do group content, yes there are reputation vendors that give a piece of gear or two and some World quests reward better than 554, but each tier should bump up the ilevel of the base amount even just a little bit to help the progression and overcome those obstacles.
Sounds like maybe nitpicking on my end, but I’m just offering feedback based on how it makes me feel and how I perceive them.

Honestly i don’t mind the way the rest of the system works, but that ilvl 554 even if you do t8 is low lol. World quests offer better, random world drops are higher, rares drop 564-577.
Could cap it at what rares drop since they are soloable even by squishy classes without another person.
Other than that, sounds solid and look forward to it.

My frustration with this is it seems incredibly dumb that the chase reward here for delves is a 603 item on the hero track which you can only earn once a week while you need to run 8 delves a week to earn that quality of loot for all the delve options but under normal circumstances for half those runs your going to get absolutely nothing to show for it because it is going to be locked at 554 item level.
What I think is going to happen is your going to start seeing people unlock T8 and then their going to just do their 4 per week and be done with it since everything else feels unrewarding.
That doesn’t feel like it’s a new pillar of content to me, not one that is meant to stand on it’s own.
I mean…its 4 bountifuls a day… How fast u tryina gear? Thats 28 attempts a week

For me Delves will be like DF Follower Dungeons. At the end of the expac I will remember they exist and think “I should have done some of those”.

They were saying that players are only going to want to do 4 per week, not that they can’t. In other words, these players will only run as many delves as they have keys for, which are more or less capped weekly. It doesn’t matter if there’re 4 bountiful delves per day when you don’t get enough keys to run them all.

You can buy keys once you progress they are even discounted for delve currency.
