Only reason I can think of is to unlock higher tiers.
So… to waste my time. 
If you choose. There are quests that take you in there.
But it’s the same reason normal/follower dungeons exist.

Yeah, they’re not part of the end-game ladder once you hit tier 8. But use them to climb to tier 8.
Odds are you’ll find yourself stuck somewhere before then, unless you can out-skill the challenge. Whatever level you plateau at but succeed with is likely one higher than where you should begin spending your keys, if you’re solely playing world content and this system.
4 are up a day. You have 4 keys a week. It’s designed with the assumption that you won’t be able to log in an run all 4 delves a day every day. Oh, and you also get radiant soul things that give the coffer things to make more keys. There are also WQs that give those.
I’m going to save my delve keys until the end of this week and see what else sort of gear I can get before doing this. Luckily my wife and I chose Monday as our day to keep open for whatever we wanted (no work, kids are in school, etc…) so I’ll make that my bountiful delve day.

Something tells me delves lvl 7-8 are going to S tier keyboard unicorn god of skillz or for casuals WALLS.
You use no key!
It would be if you only used 1 key for the whole group. But having to use your own key to open the bonus chest at the end seems kinda BLAH. You bring a full group, it gets scaled for more people but if you dont have a key your SOL.

So I searched for this “Bountiful Coffer Key”
It does not exist.
What I found out was, this is how it works.
You need to have a Restored Coffer Key in your bag when entering a Bountiful Delve to loot the end of dungeon chest.
Most people should have like 10-20 keys saved up by now so using them on tier 8 bountiful chests should gear you pretty good.
Depending on your class and spec this could be very true. Also depends on if your in a group or solo. Me I plan to have Brann heal go tank spec and get one of my good DPS friends and just push to 8+ so I will want to start burning bountiful keys.
Is there a gear list for the Delves?
I want to know if the Delve Plate will suit me better than the Dungeon Plate vs LFR Plate.
oh and of course rings/necks/trinkets…
yeah if you can tank just tank the lower keys even if you barely know what you are doing as long as you pretend you do and dont wipe the group no one will care

Four keys per week (yes, there are ways to potentially get more). Four chances to use them per day. That means there will be 28 opportunities in a week to use 4 keys. Not sure why people are stressing over this.
still gonna probably wanna run with a tank for the first few days think recommended for rank 8 is 600 ilv most of us are about 580-585
They freaking better give gear equal to mythic 0 at the least. Heroics are braindead easy right now. No one is going to run Tier 8s if they aren’t worth it in the least.

Tier8 drops champion track and you can turn into tier. Better then LFR.
