Are there any horde rppvp guilds left that are somewhat active? I havenāt played much of df.

Howdy Baast.
You should look in to Wyrmrest Accord, or find a guild on there to join with your ED characters, now that cross realm guilds are a thing. ED is barely hanging on population wise, and RP is nonexistant.
According to wow prog ED has slightly more people that WRA. In terms of activity id imagine most people dont bother with the forums and RP, while always less walk up than other servers,RP probably took a hit cause of exodus from the lag scale, rp crashing and certain toxic guilds. Honestly if we were just a normal server or a pvp server (and thus not cut off from other servers like we are atm) we would be fine.
Valdrakken and Org on ED are ghost towns compared to WRA.

I think theres mulitple shards going on, not even a warmode on/off diff, atleast on valdrakken.Ive moved around on toons in vald and would see the same people on one and barely on others. Again, theres not much rp going on in general since a lot of people were scared off to do so. but in general activity DF has been actually pretty good for ED, its just our old stand outs(roughly equal faction numbers, rp-pvp) are gone and the server has to kinda figure itself out again.
Should def just be converted to a normal server at this point.
I think ED has more overall players, but the difference between ED and WRA or MG is that EDās population is pretty well split between both factions, whereas on the other two its 90% on one.
Then you add in the fact that those two servers see each other out in the worldā¦
Also, ED just doesnt try to do much together because of bad actors. Most guilds are withdrawn and keep to themselves. You could probably find a good group to roll with, but if youāre looking for an active realm with a community nah, this aint it.
Especially if youāre looking for an RP/PVP guild like Stormnir was above. It dont happen anymore. Unless pretending like you āwonā the realm is your type of RP.

Some really good people chose to stick it out over on ED. I hope that cross-realm makes it easier for them to find RP or PvP.

Id be happy if they did some sort of merge of the rp servers, no idea why ED is still closed off to everyone. and yes there are a lot of good people still here, god knows I nearly moved the guild off server but chose not too once they revealed we could invite off realm to guilds. I figured this would be the start of breaking down some of the barriers servers created that now hamper the non mega pop servers.

Iād gladly play retail if RP/PvP was still possible but it was very deliberately taken out of the game by Blizzard and thereās no point in pretending otherwise. You can still find it to a certain extent on classic but not much. Hardcore is probably the only reason to have a sub these days IMO

Yup, Hardcore was fun. But lost its charm after a bit.
Our glory days are gone I think, sadly. Not only has Blizzard changed the game, but the player base as a whole just isnāt the same or interested in the same things.
I dont know why the seperate realms exist at all anymore tbh. You should just be seperated by Region and then RP or PVE at this point.
I honestly also wish the RP servers were unable to have people from the normal realms come over, and vice versa. Merge all the RP realms, but then segregate them from everyone else (other than instanced content) to make sure theres a shared interest for RP from everyone that is there. Random groups bleeding over really sullied things. The separation is why Classic works better for stuff.
But im pretty sure blizz just leaves the realms in place so they can milk people for Realm Xfers.

Thereās literally no point in having designated RP realms.Take Grobb on classic for example, itās the only designated RPPVP realm that the player base had to fight for to even make happen back in 2019 and 99% of the players donāt RP and have zero interest in RP. They just show up because itās a āPvP relalmā with a nearly 50/50 split and thatās all it takes. Most of the RP guilds are either gone or buried. Same story with ED but more extreme because as I said earlier, blizzard has actively tried to stomp out the RPPvP gameplay. Unless blizzard decides to enforce its own stated policies and actually police RP realms thereās no difference between RP and non RP realms. Thereās zero incentive for them to do so, so Iām not gonna hold my breath
