Delete maw + korthia + choreghast and 9.1.5 will be a perfect patch

if none of the activities were forced upon me i wouldn’t mind any of this. The problem for me as a raider is I am required to (at the very minimum) fill my bar every week in chorethia, get soul cinders from choreghast and farm my 1000 anima when all i want to do is M+ and raid lol.

oh what changes to the game am i suggesting?

Aren’t you suggesting the removal of content other might enjoy? Not to mention the new raid is actually located in the Maw…

where do you get that - please provide the quote where you think I am saying that

Not giving this troll one single cheese puff out of my lunch box!!

Sorry, you never actually said to remove the content. You only made a snide comment about “raiding suggesting changes that ruin the game for others”. Which is exactly what the OP was also recommending.

yes OP as a raider was suggesting changes to the game that will ruin the game for others. Guilty as charged.

Required, in this case, means “people who do those things get rewards that people who don’t do them don’t get”.

So content you don’t like should have its rewards removed to satisfy your FOMO?

What happens if someone else doesn’t like the content you do like and demands that have its rewards removed too?

I’m curious how the OP plans to enter SOD to farm his/her cinders without the presence of the Maw though, lol.

As a raider I do not like doing things that do not relate to raiding. filling a bar in a random zone where i cant fly just to get an empowerment on one of my systems that makes me more powerful in raid doesn’t make the experience fun for me. Im not asking for it to be removed entirely. Im just asking for it not to be something i feel obligated in doing when it doesn’t relate to the content i enjoy doing (raiding / M+)

You get dom sockets from raiding. You get stygian embers to upgrade them from raiding(and some extra from one weekly that takes about 45 mins if you want to).

If your legendary is maxed out you don’t have to run Torghast anymore. If it isn’t maxed out then you aren’t running it every week. So complaining about Torghast even existing is a big stretch.

Unless you are trying to grind sockets on all your gear you don’t have to spend a minute in the Maw or Korthia to raid aside from visiting the vendor and travelling to SoD.

They could also just add sockets to the valor and honor vendors and/or make a raid-rep that unlocks it for raiders m+ players. Drop the currency from raid bosses.

Then, people can play what they want to play and still progress their character. People who do and play more than one can be a tiny bit more efficient.

Imagine believing that removing content will improve the quality of a game. Fascinating.

I think you’re replying to the wrong person.

Obvious troll post.

However, to anyone sincerely requesting to remove things, how about requesting improvements to the things you actually want. Contrary to what our inner voices say, we are not the most important player in the game. What we want is not always the best for the game. Being reactionary and negative is easy. Analyzing the problem, and coming to an agreed compromise is complicated, but is more gratifying when a common-ground solution is implemented.

Yes, but the problem is that your standard for “obligated” is “if it has ANY REWARDS AT ALL”. So effectively you ARE asking for it to be removed entirely.

So remove a significant portion of the end-game and replace it with… what? Nothing? Nah, that’s not making the game better by any stretch of the imagination.

The only way you’re not gonna feel obligated to do the open world stuff is if they remove any form of power gain from them at all. Which screws over people that would rather do the open world stuff, and have no interest in m+ or raiding. As someone who doesn’t like m+ or raiding I’m tired of raiders asking for me to be less rewarded just so they don’t feel like they have to do the content I enjoy. I don’t ask for raids to be less rewarding so that I don’t feel like I have to do them. I just don’t do them and deal with missing out on the rewards obtained through them.

To have some fun? Like any video game?

Or is this a ‘I don’t have fun and need to voice it post’?
