Delay PVP Changes Until Season 2

The proposed PVP system is completely new, never before used in retail or TBC. It’s a combination of retail (start at zero rating) and TBC (you only get points if you are on a team and your points are within 150 of the team rating).

TBC: C is NOT the place to essentially beta test a brand new PVP rating and reward system in a retro game. Consider all of the problems that pop up months and years after beta testing new Blizzard systems (azerite, azerite armor, anima, conduits, covenant switching, etc…). Why would Blizzard think this new, untested PVP system would be any different.

There are plenty of threads on the potential problems, so I won’t go over those. But I implore Blizzard to use the original system from TBC until it can gauge arena participation over a few months to see if any changes are even necessary.

Current Blizz devs changing so drastically what the original devs who created TBC made seems almost sacrilegious.

They don’t care sadly. Season 1 arena will be the least participated arena season in all of wow. Half the people won’t break 1550 and when they buy there gloves and offhand they won’t bother quing. It’s gonna get to 5-10 min que times.
