I think its in the mid 30s. I play multiple hours everyday and im 44.
While Iād be happy for a 3 week delay as I want to raid, but canāt make this game a 2nd job like last time, I have to say Iām actually surprised by how many new players Iāve run across in the game - whether theyād never played WoW, or they missed the original Classic run.
I play multiple hours a day and have 60, a 36, a 26 and a 16, multiple can mean anything
God yesā¦ I found AQ boring once they actually dropped. I remember loving the race to open the gates in OG, but the actual raids were tedious and long winded. The friggin DPS check the one wasp boss and the twins in OG was super annoying. Only truly fun boss was Cāthunā¦ the safety dance boss we called it then.
I do think its just as insane to think the bulk of the playerbase is in the 20s. Lol Mid 30s is what im seeing. A lot of SM runs being done. Lots of STV activity.
the people that care this much about it are already 60
Or they have a fulltime job and life commitments.
no, what youāre describing is a well grounded person that wouldnāt throw a fit about such things as missing a week of MC.
I know 3 different people at level 52-54 rn who will make it to mc thursday who also work full time and didnāt take vacation.
So why are you mad about a 3 week delay?
TLDR ; OP has pointless FOMO
iām not mad. I am saying it would serve no purpose. More over Iāll happily tell you i will not be raiding in this first lock out and very doubtful iāll be raiding in the next.
With all that said, really what i do not want is to push off the next patch longer than we have to. iām quite excited to be able to jump into pvp and dire maul.
I donāt care either way. A Fresh realm always makes for a whole new episode of adventures in our virtual novel of existence.
I have no doubts that anniversary realms will do better than SoD.
10 daysā¦ 20 years ago.
Gamers have evolved my dudeā¦ itās not our fault youāre slow as a turtle.
Iām enjoying the leveling journey. I like the quicker release cadence. Iām not 60 yet, but all I really care is that I can still finish all the content before TBC comes out and trivializes it, but me and most players I meet donāt seem to be rushing to endgame.
I feel like there was a lot bigger rush to endgame back in the 2019 launch, although maybe now that MC is actually out things will change a bit.
I personally would prefer the loot drops to be increased to account for the quicker cadence.
The only real reason to restrict loot so much is to extend the life cycle of the game IMO, and when they have 20 years of content already developed thereās not much point in time gating progression.
Average is from 2019 but ok continue to believe you arenāt a sweat after multiple others called you one, Iām sure itās everyone else that is wrong.
I dont see the issue. Can you expand upon it further? If players want to take their time leveling and then do the MC raid why should others be forced to wait?
MC doesnāt need to be delayedā¦
The people who hit first lockout put in the time to reach 60 and had the desire to raid first lockout.
Everything past the first two lockouts is for the vast majority of the population.
Who else even said that besides you coping?
Again: not my fault or anyone elseās that you are a slow leveller.
Are people really still playing this game to only raid?
