I notice you mentioned “for practice” a little earlier, do you mind elaborating? What is the benefit of having additional shamans after the first five? What are the other 20 needed for?

I have a theory that the game sometimes puts you in an absolutely god awful lobby with the most counter classes ever…INTENTIONALLY. Same as sometimes you get a lobby that you go 6/0 in.
If you win too much the game will pit you vs classes you statistically lose more against.

I feel like the game puts you in a lobby at some point, and keeps you there as it tries to find its “ideal” matches and you are no longer eligible for any potential new/already formed lobbies that it would be able to fit you into.
Which is why you can leave que at a certain point and then reque and get an insta que quite often.
Ah yes, our resident hard stuck rival here to chime in. Maybe you know why he has 25 enhancement shamans then, since you’re the expert in all things… Please, do explain

Its most likely just rng.
Like theres a pool that the system is picking from, and it choosed randomly from among certain criteria - role, spec, mmr, etc.
Even in a small pool above 2700 theres still randomness to the choice of who gets picked for what lobbies.
