then an MMO in which he wants to participate in group activity sounds like the wrong game for him.
Only in Retail WoW. Actually in Real life Iâm quite happy. WoW just grinds my gears and Iâm mad I bought a 6 month sub thinking the game was fun =/
Classic is fun though but thatâs probably because Iâm playing with a real life friend.
who hates it? most people i play with enjoy it.
source? Did you poll your 10 friends and extrapolate that to the entire playerbase?
The number of keys run every week indicate that the majority of people who participate in m+ do not, in fact, hate it.
but Iâd love to see your data that proves otherwise.
Well if you stepped outside your friend group and looked at the overall MMORPG market youâd find thereâs a lot of people who hate what WoW Retail is.
so what? I can find a lot of people who hate anything. Pick a thing. there are people who hate it.
That doesnât mean the thing some people hate isnât wildly popular with others.
Again, if youâre going to claim that the majority hate m+, back it up. surely you have data on that?
No, and donât call him Shirley.
If you want to play the game and have fun, do heroics, M0, M+5 or M+10. Not everybody has to be doing M+15s. Some content is meant to be hard and require a lot of experience, gear, and skill.
If youâre getting declined, you probably donât have enough experience or gear. Maybe they checked your logs and decided that you didnât have enough skill.
Either way, it sounds to me like youâre expecting that strangers should pick you out of the 100+ people (not even joking) who signed up for their 15 key. Why would they do that? Why would you do a better job than that 1.9k io Fire Mage with lots of 95+ percentile logs?
Nah actually YOUâRE playing the wrong game. WoW is literally set up as a quasi-lobby based action RPG with barebones social tools. Heâs playing exactly the right whack-and-loot game for it. Just with a poor LFG system.
WoWâs LFG system is similar to those who refused to give up their beepers. Dude. Itâs 2021. If youâre going to call M+ competitive then make a competitive matchmaking system. Quit half-assing it.
You donât have to use the LFG system. A que system in m+ would be need itâs own difficulty level and scaling. Thereâs a reason why LFR is so easy.
I played ESOâŚplayed GW2âŚI went to the field after a month for each and never played either again. You arenât even playing true classic which required 2-3hrs of sitting in General and trade looking for a group that would usually dissolve before completion.
Itâs a fotm issue. Reroll a better built class. Blizz aint going do the work even when the evidence proves how skewed classes are.
Unless theyâre giving an M+LFG queue buff like determination, theyâre have to nerf the actual dungeons, which does affect everyone.
If they do make it a buff for only M+LFG, it shouldnât reward the same level of loot anymore, which will turn a lot of people off from it.
This is actually a win for the dedicated premade crowd as it pulls a lot of people out and leaves the ones who are comfortable and generally qualified for what theyâre applying for.
I played GW2 for the better part of 2 years. I loved it sPvP was so much fun. WvWvW was a blast too because of the guild I was in.
I think Iâm gonna head back. ESO was also a lot of fun because the gameplay was way more creative and not as restrictive. Plus with those 2 games the lack of 4 full hotbars of buttons is good.
So far in Classic I have been having a good fun time too because Iâm a tank there so grouping isnât hard to find but soloing and duo questing is fun too itâs not like hey I logged onâoh wow Iâm max level now; Guess I have to go do M+!
Chicken tendies.
A que system with M+ would have to be gutted for a randomly generated team to clear it. Thereâs just too many considerations with affixes and group comp.
I mean reduced valor points isnât terrible. If thatâs the punishment -sign me up.
If you need to be invited to groups to raise your IO score, and you need to raise your IO score to get into groupsâŚ
HOW DARE YOU I AM VEGAN
(not really but i instantly found people - a lot of them - who hate it)
