Fun is subjective, I find mage more fun than slinging meatballs.

Devoker’s a lot of fun with its kiting potential, but also be prepared to have to utilize every bit of it to survive, because it has zero defensibility.
It also has the fewest buttons of those, although unlike DH, this shouldn’t be confused with low skill cap, because you have to have some finesse to cope with 25yds on a paperbag spec.
I started looking at other casters for this reason, but didnt want to give up on it so i left it on the list
I have a mid 60 evoker and just leveling it through pvp for the honor gear is hell, I get swatted like a fly (not just the level 70s being a problem, did not have this issue on other characters in this bracket)
Mage is pretty strong and unlikely to receive a nerf any time soon imo.

It suffers a lot of bugs and needs another general design pass, but devoker is quite fun regardless. Every time I weave my way into a good Dragonrage with two Essence Burst stacks and just lay into a target with multiple Disintegrate casts back-to-back, and just kinda “slowly” erode their defenses away, I feel like every character from a movie where they shoot sustained lasers or wand magic (or fire breath, to be on the nose) or whatever and overwhelm their target. In my head I’m blasting a shield they’re struggling to keep up but which is slowly shattering. Great power fantasy.

The damage aspect is there, and i know the class is playable, pinning down a good devoker on my warrior is hell, especially considering deep breath breaks spear, It feels like they’re never cc’able and always on the move, but damn, i just cant pull that off.
Level a mage, trust me, it is S tier. You can sheep people, do 300k DMG moves. Perfect survavility. You can kite melee.
