[Dec 8th] You've been disconnected from the server

Same issue here as well on both accounts here at home. Twelve hours now

Welcome to LAN gaming in the late 90s =D

Well this is easily the weirdest thing I’ve ever done to get into WoW… yeah, it works though O_o

Respect. It worked for me.

Worked well, thanks much. :+1:

you’re a saint and a scholar

what worked

check my post above

Couldn’t play last night due to the 8hr downtime. My only day off this week and I can’t even log in, like EVERYONE ELSE ON THIS THREAD. Giving Bobby #&$ing Kotik fat bonuses is not helping, maybe use the money to perk up staff competency and equipment. Record 1st day sales isn’t worth #%& all if we can’t even use the software.

Oh hell. THANKS SO MUCH!!

Extract the folder and replace your “World of Warcraft_retail_\cache” folder with the downloaded cache folder

I’m sorry, I’m not going to blindly download files off of a forum from a non-Blizzard employee. I hope you get punished for spreading your virus little guy.

lmfao /10char

same here, instant DC upon logging in.

Just download a working cache. If you don’t trust it scan it with a malware tool or grab a working one from a friend.

Here you go

download this
https:// www.dropbox. com/sh/jgc0ib1raxael5u/AAD1rXMOFjoOuQrpgsh2ZMHDa?dl=0
(delete the spaces after // and before com

open your cache folder @ C:/Program Files(86)/WorldofWarcraft/ retail

then copy the contents of my cache file over yours and accept the overwhite prompt

the only one you really NEED is DBCache.bin

log into wow :slightly_smiling_face:

like others have said this is just a Band-Aid until the real fix is rolled out
