Fair enough, let me rephrase that:
1.12 characters raiding MC but without DM, ZG etc gear, is a situation that didn’t exist in vanilla.
The first guilds to clear MC did so without all the class buffs between 1.0 and 1.12, AND in blues from the original dungeons.
Anybody who cleared it for the first time in 1.12 was wearing DM/ZG blues.
