After all charges of Deathstalker’s Mark are consumed, it should require the use of any finisher with 5 or more combo points to reapply the mark.
This is the only change Deathstalker’s mark requires. That’s it. Having it apply from any attack out of stealth does not make any sense. I’ve said this so many times and people for whatever reason will not address it.
If mark is applied from garrote out of stealth, you will just move it around for the first few GCD’s with subterfuge. It can’t apply from any attack from stealth, because that’s not how subterfuge works. If you don’t make it work with subterfuge, and only apply on the first ability from TRUE stealth, well damn now it doesn’t really work with dance and sub, does it?
With deathstalkers mark, and subterfuge both being available to either spec, you can’t really have the mark be applied this way. Ambush, like it or not, is one of the better moves it can be applied with. At other points I attempted to suggest they should have left in MfD and just made that off GCD and be the ability which sets the mark…but people keep loudly and repeatedly asking for garrote to apply it. So here we are.
