Death Rising, Week 2

Please tune up the zombies damage… this is actually pretty boring.

Zombies camping chromie in Org, get dced when they kill you.

I thought week one of this event was pretty trash, but now you’ve outdone yourselves in the wrong direction.

Incredibly poorly executed event from start to finish.

yes, zombies need to do more damage or have more HP. Also, increase how fast you can infect others.

Everyone regardless of level is being flagged but the event is for max level only.

I dunno man. If someone said to me that a one-time event was going to occur where the brakes on my truck wont work for that week - WHILE IM DRIVING IT- , i think i’d be pretty pissed about that too.

Not really an apt comparison, but okay.

You could just play with those who enjoy the event and then everyone would be happy and doing what they want to. That you need to fuel yourself off the misery of others who don’t want to play with you is what makes you fun unsustainable.

Thanks Blizzard. I would love to be enjoying this totally awesome event (lol) if it was actually worthwhile for me. Oh well, guess Shadowlands launch is next week. :man_shrugging:t2:

oh wooooow so scary ! apparently, grey cells are not invading your staff

dang fun it is, too.
I love going to goldshire on moon guard and seeing all the pervs’ skeletons and corpses everywhere, so refreshing.

Riddle me this. As a low level character you CANNOT participate since the mobs only partially scale.

In other words you can’t outrun them, you can’t kill them IE: ‘miss’ ‘miss’ ‘miss’ its absurd.

What mental midget decided to only scale ‘some’ of the mobs and make this dumpster fire worse than it already is?

Wish we could downvote…

Been fighting the Scourge, but my paladin partner keeps bubbling and hearthing whenever I use the Argent War Horn.

PS: You guys should have brought back some of the old rewards for this event.

I don’t mind corpse runs when you are involved in a guild group event, but I was in game that last time Bliz did something like this. The difference then is our entire guild was engaged in trying to cleanse or get infected and invade the other faction’s towns. And there were some spots you could be safe for a small amount of time, but mostly our entire guild just managed to make it a fun event.

However, having done it once, I am not interested to do it again. I am much older now and my interests have changed to the point that I would rather opt out of things I don’t particularly want to participate in.

I do understand why Bliz has done this in the pre-patch, but I would have much preferred it to have been setup like the Legion pre-patch was.

Demon Invasions will only be accessible for a few weeks, before Legion hits (August 9 - 30).

There are six zones you can encounter an invasion in. Invasions do not require players to have completed Broken Shore questlines. Players as low as level 10 can participate in invasions; they reward a sizable amount of experience.

I understand what you mean. I think we’ve all been there too. Though I’m not certain the actual event is what’s bothering a lot of people here, but more so the blindsided feel to being locked into PVP flagging upon reaching a major town. The question of whether or not Blizz could have just said “oh and by the way, you will be locked into PVP” would go a long way toward customer relations.

I see a lot of people wishing this wasn’t FORCED onto them, I have to agree. I’m forced to stay on a single character and out in an area to quest to stay the hell away from places that auto flag me. I can’t go about my regular day in wow checking auctions on my alts or checking the mailbox and storing items I have sent to my bankers, I can’t even just have a fun casual day doing fishing on my fishing character (Still trying to get Crafty).

You see all of these things that a single person wants to do that’s normal to them on a daily basis? Bad enough with the whole covid garbage going on we can’t do our normal everyday life stuff now we’re forced in game as well to not do the same.

To those that were all like well you can’t sit in a city anymore blah blah. I’ll let you know I love pvp as much or more than the next person on a leveling playing field vs having my 10 or just fresh toon going to a city getting obliterated as they just walk into because BOOM insta flagged because Blizzard. I take my 50’s out and pvp on them against other 50’s out in the world. I chase down those other 50’s on both factions that have opt’d into pvp for some action vs having it forced on me and them. This is why I’m officially done with Blizzard.

Second week content that can’t be done as everything relevant is infinitely griefed. At least the free days of game time you’ll have to give out again will be neat.

I wish i had done all the week 1 quests on all my alts before the zombies came. Doing the goldshire part took forever with the constant zombie swarms killing people trying to quest. Even Nathanos is a pain with a bunch of people intentionally griefing it with zombies.

Get on your 50 and fight the zombies then? You already said you have no problem pvping.

Its only a week after all.

Having not read the rest of the thread: I say only one thing.

I enjoy the zombie event, fighting them is fun, but PREVENT THEM FROM GRIEFING PEOPLE TRYING TO GET LOOT FROM NATHANOS OR ICECROWN RARES.
