I probably will at some point. Just looking for the next one to level. I don’t get to play as much as I’d like. 4 kids, full time job and school part time take up most of my time. Some weeks I only get a couple of hours. So I appreciate the opinions.
Thanks. I will not be tanking but I appreciate the response. I tanked most of BC and Wrath and that scratched my itch. I do like plate transmog though.
Exactly!
Hope you’re used to rejection then. Havoc DH are a dime a dozen and most groups don’t need more than one.
This is just an alt so I am not too worried about it. Thanks for the response.
Ahhh, the usual DHs-are-mind-numbingly-easy argument. Again. ALL classes are like this right now, and have been since the devs have tried to turn WoW into a D3 clone…
Neither are difficult to learn, and both have a tank spec you can take at need. DH has high mobility and crazy leech when in meta. DK offers a 2nd dps spec if you don’t like the first you start with, and has zero down time when pulling wave after wave of enemies because of the constant health regen from free Death Strikes, but has some of the worst mobility in the game, and damage in both dps specs is highly dependent upon keeping diseases and dots properly applied to targets.
Both offer different styles of play and can be a lot of fun. Play each and find out which style you prefer! I like both, but I’m also melee-bias and only rarely touch ranged characters.
Thank you for the response. I am more of a ranged person myself but usually try to level one melee an xpac. DH definitely is a lot of fun with the high mobility!
I love my DK as a tank… but I def love DH for dps. It’s so zoomy!
I liked tanking in the past but prefer dps now. I am leveling a resto druid. Trying to get into the healing game as well.
I agree about DH for dps. It is very fun so far.
For dungeons and BGS… DH.
dps on a dk is nice, I agree. The only thing I didn’t like was when I was trying to raid with it, it always felt like I was lagging behind the rest of the group because outside of wraithwalk we have no real gap-closers.
Thanks! I like just messing around questing while waiting for PvP and Dungeons to pop.

For questing a blood DK is hard to beat. And works great in dungeons. I have no clue about PvP though.

If I wasn’t playing Paladin, my Death Knight would come out of her ghoul-garden sabbatical in Acherus. It’s such a fun class! I loved the burst of Unholy and Blood as a tank felt reliable and capable to me
I used to play frost back in the day and remember little to no downtime and it being pretty fun. I am having a blast however on DH since making one last night.

That’s awesome! As long as you’re vibing off the class and enjoying it, I find I tend to play better - I’m not hung up over the little things
I would main my DH but i invesred far too much into my dk.
Its not that dk is bad, but i hate being so slow without unholy aura.
I play both. Both are fun. Both look cool.
DH is easier to play. It’s a fairly simple, effective rotation that hits hard for DPS. I heard their tanking spec not so great, but don’t know from experience.
DK is harder to play, but has more abilities and options. Frost and Unholy are DPS spec. Blood is tank spec. I hear Blood more effective tank than DH.
I enjoyed both. DK was easier to level and had more survivability, at least as unholy. DH was more like rogue with no stealth to level. Hits real hard, but can be squishy.
Well dk if you want more options, i mean you cant be a allied race dh, but dk coming soon.
I mailed DH in legion, it was fun for awhile then I got bored, I still like them better than DKS though.
DK is the patrician choice.
