Death and Taxes (CLASSIC RECRUITMENT) Multi-World First

Well, lets hope that no one puts themselves in danger trying to do something like this. You always hear about people who play until they die or like the 24 hour streamers that die from exhaustion.

I hope everyone plays somewhat responsibly. Sleep, water, and food is very important and I hope people will take care of themselves.

If you don’t care so much, why bother posting here ?

lol…Death and Taxes…some “randos guild”

To be honest because I am afraid the common trend in live will carry over to classic with a large amount of people getting caught up in random trade chat guilds named after successful guilds of the past.

Let us be clear this isn’t “Death and taxes” Its death and taxes new coke edition.

Is that a common trend in live ? Use some past successful guild names to try to get players to join ?

If that is true then good lord how lazy current players have become.

yeah, good luck with that one chief. I know someone who never stepped in vanilla Naxx.

The raid schedule sounds good. I remember raiding with some members back in the day, too bad wrong faction this time.

Patchwerk here…we spent 6 HOURS on him. We killed him at 4am on a Thursday, I had the be up for work at 5:30.

Okay cool I guess.

I wouldn’t even debate with all these Classic-pros on the forums. They are convinced the content is an easy face-roll because they saw a guild or two do it in some YT videos. There is gonna be a lot of raging in MC and Onyxia when most guilds get in there and actually give it a shot.

I see these posts and think back to the MC anniversary remake and all the raging and crying that went on in the forums.

I’d be interested in supporting this venture…additional recruitment info?

edit-ingnore the pserver memes those that were there know the struggle.

I would join if I’m not working. Formerly Saga of Alliance on Illidan server. They also raid 6 days 5 hours a day, Sunday is alt run. Sometimes extend another few hours.

Patchwerk: No more play?

It’s neat seeing D&T making a return for classic, I’m not hardcore myself but hey good luck.

this guy doesn’t even have the achievement for legendary ateish staff he’s claiming he has in this thread. imagine being this gullible and falling for some weirdo liar claiming to revive some guild from 15 years ago LOL

What do you mean good luck? Just use the internet, it’s being cleared in 6 hours and under these days. Same game, different meta. Idk what luck you’re trying to wish me.

Good to see the serious guilds are actually serious about the content. While I would love to be able to join you, responsibilities tie me to 2 nights max a week. Good luck!

And for those laughing at 20 hours a week, you do realise that raid guilds can easily ditch nights if they aren’t necessary, but its far harder to impose extra nights. So D&T is only taking raiders who can do 5 nights. Not saying they necessarily have to…

Just shows the difference between bravado and experience I guess.

Man I hope this goes well

I can’t wait to play a game where I can see people who work harder than me at it wearing gear I’ll never get to wear because I just can’t commit like they can.

Guess that sounds trolly, but I’m being serious. I want the world to feel dangerous and mysterious again.

While I’m sure there are lots of people lying, DnT was around for a lot of years and had many members.

I remember when they were on Shattered Hand and several of them then didn’t make the jump to Korgath, so you already had splinters that early.

That said I can only remember one name and that was Tonybone or something along those lines, and the only reason I remember that was because he was a Paladin and I was leveling at the time.

There are no world firsts in Classic, just do-overs.

Bringing back the TRUE classic raiding experience. Raiding 20 hrs a week was quite normal for high-end guilds.
