I got the same thing from one ticket, immediately opened another and got a bit of a more positive response confirming I died during the ddos and the devs were still determining what to do.

I understand that your character died in WoW Hardcore due to connection issues and server crashes, especially the recent DDoS attack. This is certainly not something I would want you to experience.
After investigating your case and reviewing relevant forums, Iâve found that your characterâs death was caused by the recent DDoS attack, which is currently affecting some of our players. Our developers are still deciding how to proceed with this issue, as it is something out of your control. Please keep an eye on this Blue Post for further updates and information.â

Yes myself and a group of 5 all dced while pulling in RFK, all died. A really awful way to go out.

I hope they choose to do something. I know a lot of good characters that died. Its crazy to think this game is 20 years old and they still cant figure server stability out.
If they do nothing all they do is prove everyone who said âtheyâre only doing something because streamersâ right.

The ddos attack on 4/24 needs to be rolled back. I understand the majority of the community are not streamers. But we are paying customers, there has already been a precedent of resurrecting players/streamers due to ddos attacks.
I personally was not affected but the community is suffering and something needs to be.
When will our voices be heard?

When will they be heard indeed. The community is suffering over an issue with a simple solution. You have server issues or get a ddos attack revive everyone that died in that time frame. EASY. Yes some people will get revived that died to there own fault but o well everyone will be happy besides .01% of people that are grouches

3 out of 5 of my party in a dungeon died due to the 4/24 DDOS. Still waiting on a response.
The entire LFG channel was going bonkers. There is no way they donât do anything right???

I feel you. I lost my level 24 warrior while tanking WC on 4/24 around 7:55pm Server Time - had literally just pulled a pack when the entire party lagged out, but didnât get disconnected. The dungeon instance just stopped responding, and we lost 4/5 (the other member alt-f4âed in time I guess). The talk on the server & gchat was DDOS, but I havenât seen that confirmed anywhere so my guess is weâre boned.

My 53 mage, MOCOSA - Doomhowl (alliance), also died during the DDoS disconnects at 9:55-10:00pm EST on 04/24/25. Blizzard should really do something about this.

Man, I hope my warrior is rezzed from this DDOS. I didnât get a response from Blizz about it. Our whole group died in Mara due to it lol. We couldnât log back in for 4 mins.

Yup, lvl 51 War in Mara. Same thing. Game just stopped responding, but we werenât DCâd. We could still chat, but game was just frozen. We waited for a while. Then closed out, took 4 mins to log back in, got back in, and bam, dead!
