Dear zoomer, please let the tank pull

Dear warlock. You are not the tank. Just because your void walker can taunt does not make you the tank. Please let your tank pull and stop deluding yourself.

If I inspect the tank and see cloth gear I’m summoning the damn blueberry.

To be fair, you should probably kick the tank if he has cloth gear. But no, I’m talking about the OP, and joking with the fact that he’s posting this on a warlock and not a class that can actually tank.

That’s what I did when I had that happen. But I was playing a healer so really it was my only option for completing the run.

There’s a simple solution. Play blood dk. Then you can be the tank and the healer. If your dps die it’s ok, they were bad and you can solo this place.

I’m still tanking. I havent stop tanking since WotLK. I really see no difference. I mean Cataclysm was great in that regard, then they backtracked on the CC focus and things went back to dpsers pulling as alway.

Yall might be right, but IMO its not a generational shift… heck Im not sure many zoomers are playing a game thats older than them.

I think its two things.

  1. The “design” of WoW, social contracting and need for each other, made people “behave” more back then than now.

  2. Communications can happen easier now between people than in the past. One hundred years ago people took months to cross the Atlantic. Now, they can PvP together/against each other (with semi-crappy ping, but give it some time).

But unholy can tank with a legion of undead for we are many

You do know that tanks are not even needed outside of raiding these days right? Let me elaborate, for example a ret pally can literally tank anything that isn’t a raid boss. A warlock can pet tank anything that isn’t a raid boss, A ROGUE(that’s me) can evasion tank anything and crimson vial during it, etc.

The point is tanks are not needed outside of keystone’s and raids. I have seen some dps dhs solo tank stuff just by blur tanking.

Give dps players a good healer and tanks magically are not needed.

So Mr. Tank stop being a diva and pull faster, or move out of dps way. Simply put at this stage in BFA with Shadowlands looming no one has time to deal with a slow tank.

In smaller words for your peanut sized brain to comprehend, PULL FASTER.

Then when the next xpac comes around and everybody’s gear resets and nobody remembers how to do pulls/encounters the right way, much hilarity is to be had.

Also, maybe the tank is just not comfortable with managing mobs when dps is pulling them and moving them around too.

If you want to queue up w/o a tank and a great well-geared healer, more power to you.

But if you queue up and there’s a tank, let them set the pace, as long as it doesn’t stress out the healer.

I don’t have the patience to wait for a baby tank, or a drama queen tank. As I stated earlier if they can’t move fast, then move out of the way.

Sorry buddy you must be wrong Im the tank not you.

I’m not addicted! I can quit at anytime!

You are a warlock. I know you think you are a tank but you aren’t.

In newer, more difficult, content I’ll agree with you, but if you’re sitting there for 30 seconds before every pull in deadmines the rest of the team is going to move on with or without you.

I will misdirect to you to help you set the pace.

Accidental DPS pulls, definitely pick them up. DPS keeps pulling after you ask them not to, well then they can tank it.

Also really only a pug problem, like most things. I love a regular group where I can just trust the hunter to keep them coming faster than I would otherwise get to them.

So you want to pee in the town well whenever you want, regardless of how it effects others, because you’re too lazy to walk over to the public bathrooms. Gotcha.

Impatient is a better word.
