I am sure everyone here in the forums would have been the hero and saved the situation, then a GM would appear and IP ban the griefer and everyone would clap. If you watch the video there is a gnome warrior(?) taunting Zeliek away but the guy responds with going into battle stance to use mocking blow (which ignores threat).
A hardcore player can still have a hardcore priest on the horde side MC the ally, correct? If so, I disagree that it’s cheating to have warchief’s blessing as an alliance. Though, I understand why it would be difficult to do. You could just keep a hardcore warlock to summon.
This whole fiasco should be a case study in why pleasing a player base is impossible.
No it will not be cheating on the official HC server, however it’s far more difficult since you would actually have to have a horde 60 priest, and a 60 alliance character you were giving the buff. While that’s possible, you then have the situation where both characters will be PVP flagged and where they can be killed permanently. I suspect there are at least a few rogues out there that would be more then interested in claiming some kills.
The reason it’s probably considered cheating right now is that it’s unlikely any of the characters collecting the world buffs are actually HC outside the one getting the buff. Also technically its a bit of an exploit to get, though Blizzard hasn’t made any real comment on it either way that I am aware of.

i know with proof at the 30.00 min of the video the guy shows with wcb that enough is cheating to me because you need to put your self in pvp mode and nobody kills you and you are risking your character because you know if someone kills you then admin will say oh it was grief lets give this guy a pass

I think HC was a great thing the community behind it pushed. Certainly something people can enjoy is a good thing. But man, it is just so divided.
I get if the people running the HC addon are circumventing their own rules then certainly HC Official will eliminate bias. Seems like something that garnered the attention of Blizz to want to make a dedicated server for it would support some hope in other player/community endeavors in the future.
But the state some of the player base is in is downright off putting. It’s like saying you aren’t a real pizza eater if you don’t eat pizza in Italy. .-.
you dont need to be devil advocate the priest who mc the hardcore whatever druid or warrior is called collusion which used to be on blizzard terms of service collusion is not allowed on world of warcraft or used to be or i either give an f to what terms of blizzards are or will be in the future
They wanted to clear Naxx so bad that they cheated to try and do it.
It’s like all the people abusing exploits to become realm first x when wrath dropped.
They don’t care they didn’t do it legit, they think just doing it earns them e-clout.
Little string instrument did a good thing for the community. If you want to call it a grief, fine, but he did the right thing.

I thought collusion was for pvp servers?
oh is pvp now so how do you enter pvp mode to get the buff
I thought it was for a pvp server, that the collusion mattered? On a pve server it’s not a big deal, since there’s no faction that matters on pve

The only interesting thing about hardcore is that peoples characters are gone when they die. This clown community keeps changing the rules.
Get griefed? Well maybe make a more trustworthy team. Haha.
The fact that they ever had an appeal channel is ridiculous.

lol When offical HC comes out, I should make a guild where the rule is your PVP flag has to be on at all times. For the TRUE hardcore experience!
