The rares over here like Galahad require you to run into a building and kill a crap ton of mobs just to make it too rare only to find out you missed it since other classes can stealth right to the rare. Put them outside. This new zone is just stupid. I have never complained about a new zone in my playing of wow since I started in Vanilla… but these rares locations are just fin stupid and make not playing the game fun at all. Now I wish I hadn’t just paid for a 6-month sub.

Hunters, Druids, and Rogues seem to love it for some reason.

Yup, it sucks. The zone sucks. I’m glad more people are realizing how stupid this all is playing out.
IMO it would be less annoying if you could actually tell there the entrance to the “inside” was.
*See a rare on the map.
*Fly over and notice it’s underground.
*Fly circles around the mountain for a few minutes trying, sometimes in vain, to find the cave entrance.
*Rare vanishes from the map.
*Give up and go do something else.
*Repeat for the next rare.
I agree, but that’s a bad example. Galakhad the dragon is outside, on top of the mountain. Alone, even.
If you want a real example, Warden Entrix. All the way at the end of the war creche, you need a raid group just to get to him, much less kill him.

the most engaged rare in zereth mortis was probably mother phestis. blizz saw the stats and said people love cave rares and hard to reach rares!

And while you’re at it, just implement a teleport ability for all classes. This is World of Warcraft, not World of Walkcraft!
Abolish trash mobs and make raids just bosses. One room, and after you kill the 1st boss, the 2nd spawns, after he spawns, the 3rd, and so on.
Stop making open world zones!
I don’t mind having to exert a little effort to get my free loot, but I at least want rares to have a couple minutes shield before they can be attacked to allow all of us to get there.
Especially with a few of them which require going through wave after wave of elite mobs. I don’t really care about having to enter a building to go after a rare, but not like this.
It isn’t that bad when you learn where they are.
Only spent 9-15 mins. flying all over the mountain top with numerous players flying around hovering everywhere with me. It was funny because no one could figure it out. Finally, I pulled out a video guide and yeah. Get past the mobs only to find its dead. Second time when I found it, I got to it. And some jerk called Fun Gal XYZ brought in a lot of FUN behind herself right upto me who was being smacked around already by the boss. Needless to say, we all died and she wiped us.
Its just a lot of -_-’ and sighs but I think that you’re overreacting a bit. I just don’t do that elite and skip it lol
The problem is a lot of players won’t be bothered to figure it out. They will find it frustrated and just not play.
For instance - I took the time, got it down and went after it because that’s how I play WoW. My two roommates logged in, found it frustrating, logged out and went to go smoke weed and eat pizza instead. They haven’t been on since. It’s just not good game design, not not a way to keep more casual players playing.
I never even made it to it even with a raid,gg.
Just because it is difficult, does not make it stupid.
If you are asking blizzard to cater to that type of stupidity, than just noooo lol.
