You have no evidence of some malicious intent or orders to end SoD prematurely, so I do not believe your claim. Until you can present some valid and reliable proof, you’re talking out of your trousers.
People asked for “classic +” and the best that the tiny Classic dev team could do is take vanilla and copypaste retail abilities into it.
Kind of embarrassing that 
being run by volunteers for free in their spare time, somehow creates more unique and interesting “classic +” content than a giant multi billion dollar game dev.

I personally think class balance has been unexpectedly good in SoD.

Ev rything will be better next phase. These complaints about minor inconveniences will be mixed in with posts about stuff being done. There is just not that much to do right now. We all know blizzard is phoning it in and taking the cheapest route to test classic changes. Skip this phase and come back later.

Your suggestions, like adding more flight paths and exploring unused areas of the map, are great. They could make the world feel fresh again. And yeah, more transparency from Blizzard and a focus on listening to what players want could make a big difference.

That they’re going to put minimal effort into ending SoD as soon as possible (before you make more stupid assumptions, I’m not implying SoD will end “prematurely.” just that they want to get phase 3 and other phases out ASAP to end this experiment) . To spoon feed you more, two weeks after phase 2 launched, Aggrend commented in an interview that they considered the phase to already be at it’s midpoint. Also, the xp boost is a clear sign that Blizzard isn’t happy with subscriber retention.
Yup got 2 of my Characters to 40 with mounts, some gold saved and went back to Era/HC. Really hope things get better. For someone who plays more for PVP phase 2 sucks IMO. Not a fan of the Ashenvale event or bloodmoon. Tag as many mobs near alter as possible then die rez and repeat cause no amount of healing can keep anyone alive for more then 30 seconds with the insane amount of burst in the game. I’m worried in later phases they’ll take the best PVP area in classic (Blackrock Mountain) and put some terrible “PVP” event with ridiculous lag and make it terrible also.
Then it’s not free… I don’t play any other verisons of wow currently so if I stop playing SoD I am canceling my sub
No more free than a refill, I suppose. I get what you’re saying, but you are also complaining about a version of the game that is marketed/sold as an addition to the paid content.
I also would pay $15/month separately just to play SoD, because it’s easily that good, imo.
