Yeah, this guy’s presence on this forum honestly seems to boil down to “I know you’re presenting me with facts and data, but I have decided not to listen to people that actually know evoker because I made up an alternate reality long ago”.
Almost all of his posts are contradicted by more knowledgeable players (and his bad performance on all facets of the class), but he continues to die on a hill based on thinking his experience is unique (and somehow correct).
I can’t imagine not making the connection that performing poorly at something undermines your assumed position of knowledge on it.
I’m choosing to believe the advice and knowledge of a surgeon that has previous/current success in their field over the one that’s arguing with them that has a 50% mortality rate: yes, your ability to do something well correlates to how trustworthy your opinions are.
I honestly don’t understand dedicating so much time to arguing with people that actually know what they’re talking about/back it up with information.

I assume you’re basing this on a 3 week old season rather than looking at my achievements since any sort of casual search will show that I have reached 2100 on this character and I’m just a few honor levels below the esteemed warrior above.

I’m not interested in an arena rating that you clearly bought. You don’t even understand the basics of kiting, or the cooldown of warrior/the consequences of them following you with two charges and a leap while taking way more damage than they have a chance to inflict.
You are a green and grey-parsing pile of living misinformation on this class. Your advice is going to make other people get the same results (maybe that’s your goal).

Devastation is incredibly strong right now. It doesn’t rely as much on tier since the 4 set is basically double nerfed in pvp, and its over time nature doesn’t contribute much to kill windows.

Here’s where I gently point out that you were saying the same thing I was, more than once. And here’s were I once again say that I did indeed get 2100 in solo shuffle in season two. And here’s where I point out that I never claimed to be great but that didn’t stop the chest thumping creepers from coming out of the woodwork to start an argument over nothing in particular.

I just hope OP doesn’t get the impression that all pvpers are maniacs. Some of them are willing to help rather than jumping straight to ridicule like you did. Especially when your “advice” boiled down to “just be better.”
Our sole disagreement seems to be that I said that just slowing an enemy like a warrior isn’t enough by itself and it’s important to know what other options you have and what your opponent can do, especially if you’re new to PvP with that class, and you insulted me about my progress during a couple seasons I very clearly cared little about. %38 of 24 matches and %12 of 26 matches. What a joke. You realize that’s approximately 4 solo shuffling games each season?
In conclusion, you’re just a troll and you should be ashamed of attempting to represent the community.

Remember I am only in honor gear atm, and I am learning the class, it’s getting better. I did 36.89m damage in a regular BG today, so my numbers are going up. As is a rotation as much as you can do one in PVP.
Warriors are still a pain, but I’m enjoying the challenge. It’s all ok to say drag the warrior to the team and that is good advice in Blitz, however my teammates are not exactly on the ball sometimes. I had someone today who said “I’m here to complete the quest and that is it”
I have no interest in Arena. Been there, done that years ago and did not enjoy that gameplay. I don’t care about my rating or what your rating is, it means nothing overall, it’s just a game. However I am proud to be nearly 900 honor level. Does anyone IRL care? Not really, my wife would rather I was cutting the grass.
I came on here looking for advice. Furthermore, I’ve learned some good tips on here. There is no need to get salty with people trying to help. I am intelligent enough to work out what advice works for me and what does not.
