First, it is not a player made issue. Second, It being a player made issue is neither here nor there.
I have a different way to help myself - by quitting. Many others will follow suit and dead realms will lead to a dead game.
Also, they have offered free transfers in the past. They have also merged classic servers. Although they are doing a horrible job, being doom and gloom about any action is just slightly above what Blizzaed deserves.
Scheduling a raid is day 1 stuff. We have been doing that since P2 of classic. The problem is I shouldn’t have to pencil in a normal hellfire ramps run on my alt for Friday at 5pm. I am not sure what server you are truly on, but again, you are completely out of touch.
I would love to work with the community, the problem, which you can’t seem to grasp, is that there IS NO COMMUNITY LEFT.
Then I am far more causal than you are - that is why I picked a server with a healthy population to start with. I have other things going on in my life - I don’t have time to schedule everything around running a 5 man dungeon on WoW, nor should I have to.
I am not sure why you are so opposed to changes that will not affect you. Again, I do not want LFD - I enjoy interacting with the community. There is a difference between raid finder and 35 max level players at peak hour - why are you stuck on the extremes? My server prior to blizzard making these stupid changes was awesome with a great community.
They very rarely do a server merger and the for sure haven’t ever done a server merger on these progression servers.
These servers started out in classic pretty balanced, it’s a player made issue because they allowed free xfers off servers which shifted all the realms that were with those servers that allowed free xfers.
Then people realize their server is trash because majority of 1 faction xfers off because they were the minority which in turn creates a new server that’s now also imbalanced, so the people on the server that people just xfered to for free gets ruined.
The players are exactly why the servers are like this which is why Blizzard typically doesn’t intervene.
That’s as far as I read because this is ENTIRELY a player made issue. PLAYERS screwed up the realms and PLAYERS keep them them imbalanced. It’s up to PLAYERS to rebalance them but PLAYERS don’t want to.
The ONLY thing Blizzard needs to do is unlock PVE to PVP transfers. That’s it. The rest is up to PLAYERS.
Edit: No point reading the rest when you’ve already wrecked yourself at the start. That’s just a needless waste of time.
Oh, you mean intervene like same faction BGs, removing layers, and removing queue? Funny how a 2 hour queue with free transfers drops a server’s pop, but yes, players certainly cherry picked these changes that conviently made blizzard more money.
Because I don’t know if you can tell the difference between the issues but the issues you just stated are issues that actually prevent people from playing the game or from playing an aspect of the game completely.
Your server may be trash and dying but you can still log on without waiting and you can still queue up for a battleground without waiting.
All these servers started off balanced it’s literally people begging for free transfers that ruin the server
And not having any people on a server prevents you from playing the game.
Or should we say that Horde having 30 minute queues did not affect their ability to play because they could reroll Alliance? Like how I could just transfer?
i think you fail to understand two important factors:
Blizzard doesn’t care about Classic, and never has. It serves as a mark of shame to them that people prefer a product from 15 years ago instead of the one they currently produce
Even if Blizzard did care, they are currently incapable of doing anything. Ten minutes of research would show you that they are at a standstill development wise across the board over the lawsuits and bad PR. Phase 2 is coming because it was already mostly finished when the lawsuits dropped. Expecting anything from them on any front within the next 8 months at the minimum is a self-delusion.
What’s that have to do with now? The development could have stopped for one day. Do you not see the hotfix posts? Do you not see the PTR that went up and all the updates to said PTR? Do you not see all the increased dev interaction on Twitter? Go look at Ion’s Twitter.
