New in patch 8.2 is…daylight! For those of us players who care. Buy the toy and/or the consumables.

The toy: use it for 2 hours of daylight at night. It has a 24-hour cooldown. Cost: 1000 timewarped badages.

The consumable: good for 2 hours of daylight at night. The cost: 10 timewarped badages. Used when used.

The name: jar of sunwarmed sand.

The seller: NPC Otela in the Caverns of Time (hint: there is now a portal to CoT in the portal room in Stormwind / Orgrimmar. Then run down to Otela).

The toy did NOT persist through death. But I could use it on more than one character. Good deal!

Why would they add such a long cooldown

Anyway, this is something that might solve the issue of daylight for many.
