Now that the tech exists to have a mog that changes between day and night why just leave it with one set? Why not give this option to the players? Let us pick our own mog sets that change between day and night if we want.
So if we want we could set up any mog we want for day and any mog we want for night and it would just automagically switch between them depending on the time. Seems like it could be fun, and it would certainly save some mogging money for anyone who does switch their mog between day and night even sometimes.

No issue with this.
As long as it automatically charges you the cost of the mog change as well.
Imagine getting dinged automatically twice a day for mogs across a dozen or two characters. Let’s gooooo!

Well its basically the same outfit it just changes color.
It seems you are asking for your outfit to switch to an entirely different outfit during day/night.
Could it be possible?

The tech exists to change our outfits, What exactly would the game have to do? IDK.
maybe something like:
Spawn an Xmoging NPC,
auto target NPC,
choose selected XMog,
pay for the switch,
despawn everything.
all in 1/100 of a second so it seems instant.
