Dawnbreaker is the worst Dungeon in WoW History

yeah, only did that once but it took far too long to die so we were missing something

People comparing it to hillsbrad and the like…are the ships timed events like portals? please say no. I hate forced add spawn wait dungeons.

y’all say that about every dungeon where you don’t know exactly where to go. It’s a dungeon, they should be a LOT less linear anyways.

Strand of the Ancients and Isle of Conquest too!

No, but it’s a sky ship battle and you have to mount up and hop from ship to ship, then you have to mount up to avoid damage on one of the boss fights.

For people who don’t like dragon riding or have weak stomachs, it’s probably gonna suck.

But I thought it was a blast.

oh whew. I hate those portal dungeons

Any dungeon that requires flying and isn’t clear on where to go and what to do = BAD.

I hate it

What is so confusing about it? It’s a marvelous dungeon. The mechanics are fun and interesting. I love incorporating flying into the first and third boss.

This dungeon is a masterpiece. Nokhud’s was a flarthole compared to Dawnbreaker.

Dawnbreaker is * chef’s kiss *

Exactly my thought. Occulus 2.0…I just won’t do it.

Step 1. Get on ship
Step 2. Defend ship
Step 3. Get off ship go kill nasty miniboss bugs.
Step 4. Kill big bug
Step 5. Back to ship
Step 6. Bigger bug squash it
Step 7. Chase big bug and collect yellownorbs
Step 8. Attempt 2 of squash bug

were you not also supposed to go down into the town to kill a couple mini bosses or something? i did it with followers and was rather lost the entire time, i was just flying around to the big yellow dots on the map

This is my favorite dungeon in this expansion. Partly because its so quick and breezy, partly because it is so unique compared to every other dungeon in the game.

Playimg it with PUGs who have never done it is a pain. I will not belittle that fact or lie. But with a group that knows what it is doing, not even a premade but just a PUG with knowledge of the dungeon even, its probably the quickest dungeon to finish. I’ve done sub 6 minute runs on normal.

It definitely is going to be the most divissive dungeon though.

My least favorite is the kobold one, entirely because i hate the darkness gimmick of the mine cart section and the final boss. That place sucks. And those candles can frig off.

If I could remove a dungeon from the game, this would be the one. It’s the worst dungeon design I’ve seen in a mmo for the last 24~ years of playing a lot of mmos. There was a bad one in rift as well but I’d argue Dawnbreaker is worse than that.

Sure it’s not too bad once you know how the dungeon works but you’ll run into people who have no clue. It’s just such a bad design and you can’t defend it. Maybe if they forced players to do the follower dungeon first(dawnbreaker) it wouldn’t be so bad.

Good. Pug groups need not be a thing. Make some friends.

I liked Oculus and Culling, so meh regarding those…but this is significantly better than Old Strat…and almost all of the DF dungeons as well.

it will be fun in mythic + =)

Yeah I’ll likely stay away from this dungeon, 1st time doing it was ??? the whole
time.

Mechanics aren’t for everyone.

Yeah id hate being a fat, bald coomer millennial to.

It’s not bad once you know where you’re going but unless someone’s pinging a place to land on the ground for the 2nd boss, it’s really awkward trying to communicate in a pug.
