Dawn of infinite heroics, bad tuning for pugs

Okay, this thread doesn’t make much sense. But then again, threads from the OP rarely do.

My friends have been pugging Heroic since it dropped and they’ve had no issues whatsoever. According to them, it’s insanely easy. :dracthyr_shrug:

Literally only the last boss does anything remotely threatening on heroic.
And the simple answer to that is to just stand in the glowy yellow light.
People cannot fail this dungeon.

If anything its super under tuned.
Probably the easiest heroic dungeon to do this expansion.

You might get a little lost but thats the worst that can happen.

For the 402 gear, 60 flightstones per boss, and 5 crest fragments per boss, and guaranteed catchup sparks from every boss, I would say the dungeon is sufficiently rewarding for the time investment it requires (which is not very much).

There are some really good trinket for my alts that doesn’t have time to do M+.

I did it last night in Heroic, VDH.
Altho I got Chromie killed on Iridikron after a “miscalculation” (I swear it wasn’t on purpose to kill a gnome).

But I stopped after that, didn’t bother going back for the 2nd half. Way too boring.

My personal favorite was Timeways, don’t think I ever dropped below 80% health and that was trying to take the frontals.

Moritz is right, you have to intentionally fail at heroic mode.

Stopped reading at “takes to long”. That has to be a troll. Theres like 1 pack of trash between each boss.

this place is a joke on heroic. people are using it to farm for the axe and mount so most groups have someone atleast 430+. as long as you dont try and smooth brain it and ignore all mechanics and stand in stuff the whole place is a joke. you dont even have to do the orbs on the last boss you can just let them fall

I like the dungeon and the mechanics…but it was pretty highly tuned. the current mythic setting is pretty unforgiving of pugs and the heroic version is a joke. the mechanics hardly matter.

it will likely be a fairly fun addition to S3 m+ rotation, except for the annoying orb dodging gauntlet. you know that is going to kill keys for no good reason.,

Fyrakk assault gives you some 402 gear of you kill the mini-boss at the end, plus some decent gear for doing the quests associated with the assault.
Time rifts and dream surges also reward nice gear.

I thought the heroic version was super duper easy.

There is a weekly to get 100 essence (or whatever it’s called). Gives you a coin for 415 upgradeable gear. Then every 100 essence you buy a piece of 402 gear. Which is upgradeable and able to be used in catalyst for tier.

The essence drops from empowered rares. There is a zone wide message when they spawn and marked on map. Also they are found as small green orbs you can fly through. I find the green orbs generally closer to the ground. Like inside of arches, under bridges. Etc.

Is there any word on whether the drake-riding customizations drops on heroic?

They do, but seem to have moderately (or significantly) lower chance.

That’s probably because the current M0 version is closer to a +16.

For crests, sidormi rep, those thingies for crafting you need 2 of to make and some nice weapon mogs, it is worth doing. Also you can get the black and white mount colour unlocks plus the old world armor tokens.

It is. I cannot do the evil chromie mechanic. On heroic it doesnt matter. Wait for others to find it, pop a defensive, and run to the group.

Wc was actually great the only long dungeon I didn’t like was ST because a lot of the rooms felt really repetitive
