Normal? Not on your life. It’s been going on for almost 2 weeks now with A/B saying “It’s you, not me!” and “It’s them, not us!” Our ISPs can’t do jack squat about this. A/B is the 800lb Gorilla in the room with the muscle to get whatever needs fixing fixed. Be it A/B, L3 or RIME: it needs to be fixed with this many users (who actually have some tech knowledge) being affected. I’m playing other games with no lag/routing issues, including Destiny 2 which is a huge bandwidth and resource hog at MAXED OUT settings and no hiccups. So… Ball is in your hands A/B. Are you going to fumble or are you going to score?

It has been brought to our attention that many customers are experiencing issues connecting to and using Blizzard game servers. The issue does not appear to be with the NextLink network but an upstream connection that routes through Dallas. We are reviewing the information available to aid however we can, at this time Blizzard is aware of the issue and is working to get it resolved.

I have nextlink. i called to ask if they could re-route me past the dallas node. they haven’t called me back about it yet.

Understandable. It might make since to walk away and try other games until all of this is figured out. Maybe some single player games.

I was ready to take a break from WoW anyways. This issue popped up for me when I tried to upgrade Destiny 2 to the new expansion, start in on another game. That’s when I found I couldn’t open the shop in the launcher or browsers or on my wifi-connected phone.

If whatever is blocking me from accessing the shop will also take a dump on my access to normally running blizzard games – maybe I’ll turn to that Steam library I’ve let gather dust.

I hadn’t noticed problems while in game, personally. Maybe I just overlooked them. Being full on blocked from some services and pages wasn’t something I could miss.

This kinda concerns me if you are really getting 3% loss to that hop. The only thing between you an that one is the cable plant and your modem. You MAY want to actually call in to the helpdesk and make sure they don’t see anything odd with your connection.
