WarCraft is nearly a complete rip-off of WarHammer (Games Workshop) WarCraft series was actually made to be WarHammer but Games Workshop is very difficult to work with so Blizzard just re-named a few things including a modification to the name and here we are⌠Yes even the Art style for World of WarCraft is very specific and effectively âBorrowedâ, there is very little they actually came up with, even their âLoreâ if you want to call it that is borrowed from both history and other artists.
StarCraft is a WarHammer 40k rip-off also. Know your history friend.
Additionally whoâs âStealingâ from blizzard when they play the video game they purchased? When you âpayâ to play the game youâre paying rent on that server they got.
Any way, I am not likely to be on any private servers since 200ms pings are a bit excessive for me. After TBC is done, I am done with Blizzard and their dumpster fire of a trasheap buggy game engine.
The amount of WarHammer lore basically Stolen directly by Blizzard From Games Workshop is kinda insane, if you knew anything about WarHammer you would know how borrowed their content has become in the âDNDâ genera that being World of WarCraft included. Nearly everything of content they borrowed from others and oh so little of their product is actually their IP if you really want to get into that.
But the art style of World of WarCraft was borrowed as hell. If you want to talk about IP theft maybe you should avoid talking about the biggest thieves around being Blizzard; OH PS their âover watch gameâ is also stolen IP also, just like HearthStone is a cheap rip-off of Magic the Gathering.

Iâm not one for pservers, just because I arbitrarily feel like any work I put into it is wasted.
That said, I have always had my pirate hat on. Corporations can suffer.

Well heâs in TBC now, so literally all the progression and work transferred over. I really donât know what you mean by this. I lost nothing going from classic to TBC. (Side note, this rogue existed from P1 specifically in hopes of TBC dropping. I hated classic, from the boomers ranting about it in MOP, to the idea of it coming out, to actually playing it. I hated every second and could not wait for it to be over.)

Either way, assuming you did enjoy classic and wanted to stay in it, your char effectively would be wasted, since its dead.
Your TBC rogue will be dead with the coming of WotlK when everyone moves on to that and once Wotlk is over your rogue is going to be effectively worthless too.
I was just pointing out that its folly to bring the âsecurityâ argument, when security means very little if everybody moves on from the world after the last content update.

I made the rogue in classic to wait for TBC. I still played classic, and had fun here and there, but the leveling is scuffed, professions are scuffed (devilsaur mafia, bots on plants, best place for arcane crystals was DM, etc), ranking in pvp was a terrible and dated idea, 40 mans are legit a disease, class balance is non-existent, which I guess if everything is broken then nothing is broke, and more. My best joy was logging on and just ganking random people, because nothing else in classic seemed fun to me, so in the end, this rogue existed from start to finish as a placeholder for TBC, hoping that it would drop, which it did.
Moot because, now for the second time, I didnât enjoy classic and never once wanted to stay in it. Thereâs a reason why I spent most of P1-P6 not playing classic.
Except TBC is LK waiting room? Sure, unlike classic Iâm having fun in TBC, but TBC is nothing compared to the real game, which, if Blizz does the same actions, all Iâll have to do is click and button and type my rogues name in, and then heâs in Lich King. Nothing lost.
I guess you can argue what after Lich King, but what after any game dies? You think this is my first rodeo? I have countless games with countless hours to tens of thousands of hours in varying games that I donât play. The progress I make on the character feels real until I the player of my account, stops caring.

tldr; while yes it was Democrats that owned people prior to the civil war, and it was the Republican party that was mostly abolitionist, those southern Democrats are modern day Republicans, and the Republicans of old are modern day Democrats. For ease of consumption, just look at political voting graphs throughout history, youâll see the color change, but the people in those regions stay the same. The graphs isnât the evidence though, I can give you that if you want, but itâs just there for easy understanding of political shifts in American history.

Edit: yeah the political parties arenât that interesting, but like I said earlier, just peep the maps and youâll see the color changes from blue to red or red to blue. There is so much more like various wars or social issues that helped shape the two core political ideologies, but itâs almost thesis level work to bust it all out in any comprehensive manner.
