I will share with you my troll mogs I make weekly and excel as a MW and heal u in keys.
All while making trolls look good. I got so many ideas already, if I showed u my zandalari paladin you would drool.

That thing hanging down from the facemask is what I really hate. I’ll never 'mog that helmet because of it. I don’t know what it’s supposed to be but it looks plain stupid. I had hoped for something a bit more detailed overall though, the entire set is very plain.

It’s supposed to be a cloth mask like Sen’Jin and other Witchdoctors wore. They wore theirs under the nose and covering their cheeks, with the tusks poking through. Unlike this one which hangs between the tusks and over the nose for some reason… been wanting something like this for Trolls for a long time but this just ain’t it…

I already got several mog ideas for it, despite how it looks as I like to mis and match and dont wear seats.
I got so many troll mogs already amother other skully things that I wm excited for the new pieces.

Same I prefer to mix it up. I’ll find somewhere to incorporate the mask and the 1 shoulder and MAYBE the boots but to be honest all 3 of those need work.

I am really surprised they didn’t give us a better loin cloth like in that fan improvement comparison. zappy boi and vol jin both had awesome ones.
And we left budget serial brands.

I know it would’ve been a long shot since there’s so many of them. But having Troll heritage sets based off the more common Loa that pop up in the story would’ve been cool. Maybe that’s something they can do for the Trader Post. We kinda have one for Rezan with BFA dungeon gear but a set for Gral, Hakkar, Krag’wa, Rhunok, Hir’eek etc would be awesome.

That back piece he made is a huge upgrade and is more in keeping with the original WC3 designs and concept arts. The belt is another awesome upgrade, I don’t expect as much effort from a fan rendition they could have thrown a design on the belt, maybe the serpent from the old WC3 models. The old WC3 models did have a little something on the feet themselves but I feel like the prevailing culture now is that the feet themselves should stay 100% bare but the flair they put around the ankle adds quite a bit to look. The Tribal Arm Band they added comes straight off one of the Trolls in the art books and ingame loading screens (perfect!). 3D fur on the gloves is a win, I’d still like to see wood plates on the gloves but it is what it is.
Personally I like the cloth feature on the mask, it’s just super poorly done.
Overall the fan rendition was made by someone who cares and the Heritage armor wasn’t, there’s the difference. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah this loin cloth is pitiful, and so is that belt buckle. Weird because for some reason on Troll loincloth belts are often really short, when you throw the same belt on a Draeni or Human they become normal size, with their lankiness Trolls look much better with longer cloths it’s just a fact.
