With the first attack not requiring an ilevel to queue? Just asking… for a friend… who thought it beyond silly that the horde got full sets of 340s from the first warfront without needing any gear to get in.

The attack cycles are mirroring the game world.
The Alliance reclaimed Stromgarde, so the Horde attacked first in Warfronts.
The Horde currently hold Darkshore after the War of Thorns, so the Alliance will be attacking first.

Alliance started with control of Stromgarde, so this time around it’s the Horde who starts out with control of Darkshore.
No, that’s incorrect. The Alliance is attacking first because Blizzard majorly screwed up and gave the Horde free access to Arathi early. Rather than try to fix it this time, they’re just reversing it.

Not being 325 before the warfront is even open 4 weeks into the expansion is a kind of a big yikes regardless.
Think about it. If we attacked first and stayed there. Alliance would have to attack first just to get there.

How so? There’s alts and newcomers that just hit lvl 120.
It takes like 2 hours at max level to hit 325.

The complaints when the system was first implemented were by those that had been max level for awhile. Even then it STILL takes next to no time to get 325 after dinging 120 now. You can deck out in all crafted gear for sub 10k (which you can get most of by simply questing to 120) and then run a few heroic dungeons to fill the slots. Or start your own group for M0’s. It’s not hard.

Fate of the night elves is not in the hands of night elf players so none of that makes much difference. This story is written in stone and night elves are being written out of Kalimdor.
