Extra 120 attack power and 80 spell power is amazing for enhance.
Right now if you don’t have DST, it doubles the attack power of our current trinket, as well as provide that SP for our shocks. It’s a fantastic trinket and it also allows your raid to have one less person rolling on DST or Tsunami.
Idk, odds are main raiders will have Dst by P3 but maybe not.
I would think P3 has better raid trinkets than the decks.
Yes, exactly. Which is why I and many others were caught off guard with not seeing this added in to P2.
The main confusion was when you created a character on PTR, it provided you with the Darkmoon cards. I assumed this meant these will be available to obtain during this phase.
All tanks can use it, pallies just get the most out of it.There hits a point where you need that extra health and it’s the biggets pure stam trink IIRC.
For most classes that would use it yea. But you also have 2 trinket slots

It counts shocks and doesn’t have a %age chance on hit, odds of keeping that buff up is pretty damn good with a 5-6 second CD on shocks.
Lol, I dont think you play an enhance. First resist you lose the stack. Enh get a lot of resists on shocks. You need 10 stacks to fully charge it, and the first resist you lost the entire thing and have to wait another 50-60s to fully charge again, not to mention mechanics like Ground Slam etc that may keep you off boss for more than 5-10s, or any fight where you’re swapping targets. . Its just not that good for enh shamans at all
I think maybe fresh 70s in phase 3 will use it but I would imagine their main will have better.
Then you lose the spellpower component, which is not a huge deal at all considering no other trinket will provide you with +80 spellpower without losing you a heap of other more powerful stats.
I don’t think stacking the AP buff up is going to be hard at all considering the amount of swings they get.
I’ll leave it upto the math nerds to decide where it falls in a hancers BiS list but for a new 70 it’s solid and if you can pick it up for cheap then even better.
Yea no argument there. If it’s cheap its an easy to acquire BOE trinket (but I doubt it’ll be that cheap) Without taking the time to sim it at a glance I’d imagine it comes in right around Abacus.
Saying it’s not good at all tells me you don’t play enhance.
Currently I’m using Abascus. Gives me 60 attack power and then haste on use every 2 mins for 20 seconds. Just the attack power alone is a huge damage increase. Also, if I have a shock resist I’m still fine. I’m sub ele spec since I’m in the hunter group and not totem twisting.
Pretty much full BIS enhance actually. Got myself a fancy DST and everything.
Big ooof. I guarantee you’re losing uptime on totems to the hunters without resto spec
I doubt it. I don’t take anything serious when someone hides behind an alt on the forums. I have nothing to hide, but it seems you do.
Also, I do very well in regard to dps and still able to place totems where they need to be to benefit my hunters.

Are we forgetting the factor of 30% of AP being added to Enhancement SP? Definitely not garbage.
