something like this?

Also, if they give Dark Rangers to Alliance, the Horde players will have a 3 month long protest outside of Blizzard’s HQ.
This is incredibly creative and so well done that, yes. Yes please.
Even if they don’t do this exactly, I really, really like this idea. I think this is a great example of how you could take something that already exists, reskin it, or otherwise make it a viable feature when it was impossible beforehand. Some of these are more feasible than others, and some of these are made feasible when I wouldn’t have had a solution myself.
Great work. Excellent suggestion. And a really fun demonstration. Thank you.
whee. ty. also solves some of the issue of nothing but elves for as far as the eye can see, since some of these shapeshifts are originally elves, shapeshifted for the new spec options (so you dont see the elf. instead you see a banshee or dryad or centaur, etc).
You mean they aren’t already holding a 3 month long protest outside Blizzard HQ?
Just embrace your disappointment.
Follows up on san lynn plotline in bfa for horde.
Exactly. And well, as much as there are indeed nothing but elves as far as the eye can see, Blizzard kinda created this problem by making them such an adaptive race that serves as a foundation for their evolutions.
Technically, it’s nothing but Trolls as far as the eye can see.
We need more Troll customization to justify their ancient heritage and how they’ve persisted into the present.
We need more options that let players represent what Blizzard claims is viable, including Darkfallen.
And we need more of everything else to balance this, so we don’t just see elves upon elves, because there are endless combinations of other races and things that could be explored and justified in the story.
Plz be san lynn AR, not belf customization, plz
spec-tied shapeshifts solve alot of problems:
- allied race requests, like 4 legged and odd body types (naga, dryads, ogre, ethereals, etc), solved, while also adding variety and lowering development time.
- highly requested classes that could just be a new spec for already existing classes, thus utilizing a great deal of already existing class options. in other words, a lock necro spec could utilize many pre-existing lock spells, thereby relieving the workload of the devs, while still spicing up the player experience. a lock necro could use phylacteries instead of soulstones, for example.
i tried to consider highly requested races and classes, for example dark ranger belfs, forsaken, nelfs and dwarves. broken draenei and saberon bards. and so on.
I would not be surprise, by the end of Legion we got quest to get Allied Races…
Darkfallen have been tease quite a lot lately, even in BfA they had a deal with Sylvanas can’t remember how that ended.
It would actually keep player base engage for some time… but then again it could be like “The Blade of the Primus” were you use it in the story as your personal rune weapon… but never get to have it as a Transmong. Same could go for Darkfallen, they mention it, they tease we get to play with them but can never have it. lol
I definitely resub with my friends for sure and maybe pay a few race changes to some of my Alts if Darkfallen or ANY new type of cool looking undead Allied Race is release…
It did keep me in Legion to the very end sub and playing at that time, I probably race change my DH to Void at that time if I could be a Void Elf DH lol… So it can work at least for ME (can’t say for the rest of players)…and my friends to keep sub until we done with that for sure.
For now Ill just RP with my DK Void Elf until that then…
I love your thread, but this is a thread about datamining and speculating based off that datamining. I might have to go post on your thread though.
Darkfallen have always just been undead thalassians, though. Even the San’layn are thalassian.
The evidence of the audio files is purely circumstantial. And therefore is open to suggestion/Interpretation and is not enough. You’re not the first too want the San’layn. But even the mega thread on forums about this race does not have any “exact” contributions or evidence to suggest they are or are not going to be. It sounds to me like you’re twisting the truth a little bit with what you have.
exactly my point lmfao
Read the OP; that was recently extended to ALL undead elves.
The alliance has had death knights since wrath. We are buddies with Bolvar, who was the Lich king. The Sylvanas book says darkfallen are special raised undead. Right or wrong, the groundwork is there now. Let’s see if they actually do it, or if they add the light infused Calia sparkly twilight undead for alliance instead.
I hope this isn’t true. I’d rather have tuskarr and I’m not even excited about getting that
I’ve literally posted the evidence that currently has been datamined
Nah, if it ever gets to a point where the elf races out number all the others combined I’ll quit. That amount of wasted development means there’s nothing left of interest in the game.
