I mean, in the WoW universe Rangers are mostly archers. Not everything has to be completely based on D&D. I say that as someone who plays multiple times a week.

Nope. Last we heard of them they were with Calia, and Calia immediately went from giving them zombie therapy to Lilian’s advisor. The group that wasn’t with Calia are with Sylvanas or, in Sira’s case, in the Stockades.
calia is a neutral character.
she is not horde.
As long as I get a shadow hunter class idc who has access to it. I’d even stomach dark trolls on the alliance
