It will be a little weird for a Wildhammer dwarf to only have access to the Bronzebeard heritage armor.
But maybe they can do something for that. Like adding a Wildhammer set at some point.

Wildhammer are literally dwarves with tattoos. Dark irons are genetically different.
They kind of merged it together from the get go. Since Cataclysm dwarves having access to shaman meant the union of clans. The options never were added until now, I’d say accept that over asking for more, it’s already a huge step in the right direction.

Wildhammer Dwarves are a different clan from the Bronzebeards, just like Kul’Tirans are a different kingdom from Stormwind. Yet, Blizzard do different things from what is the same situation.
people have been asking for this customization for literally years. and now you want to look a gift horse in the mouth? lol.

Man, when you complain about Blizzard updating core race customization because allied races.
people have been whining on the forums that allied races shouldn’t even exist and they should have just been barbershop options. and now you have those too and somehow that’s offensive?
If Blizzard had never made the Allied Race system, i would have no problem with that.
But now that it is a thing, it’s confusing as to why some become custizations, others became Allied Races.
There’s no pattern going on.
And it’s on the op, i stated clearly i was happy they added customization options, but it could’ve been better.
Probably because its going away, they didnt mention anything about Allied Races
Honestly yeah; could have been worse. Now you can actually look like a Wildhammer at least, unlike High Elf, which will never happen lets be real ayy

I’d rather have Dragonmaw Orcs as an Allied Race, but I’ll take them as a customization option.

I’ve wanted this guy to be a Wildhammer ever since Cataclysm, due to that awesome blind dwarf who acts as bait in Twilight Highlands. As cool as Dark Iron are, I didn’t like the thought of having my character’s voice changing. This is legit the best outcome for my fanboyish needs.

I hope they do the same thing with High Elf skin options for void elves instead of a race slot.

They actually said they would consider a skin tone option for void elves a while back. Guess they did that with wildhammer. Which I don’t find a problem with. Dwarves have pretty good racials. It would be nice to see them tweak them a little if you choose other skin types in this case.

You’ve got it backwards. Dark Irons make you grind unrelated 7th legion rep, Wildhammer you can just go make whenever you please.

Making an actual Wildhammer is the one saving grace for me with this expansion announcement. Thank goodness for small favors, I guess. Right now, it’s all I can hang my hat on for continued play.
