Dammit Brann!

That quest line is broke right now …Icy Veins posted on Twitter that the item you need to buy isn’t on the npc yet…www.icy-veins.com/wow/news/season-2-delves-intro-quest-bugged-players-unable-to-progress/

I was also under the impression that S2 was going to have a different npc choice (a goblin with hobgoblin tank would have been cool).

Blue post:

  • To make curio collecting a more longform and hopefully engaging experience, obtaining a curio upgrade will always advance a curio’s rank by 1 regardless of the completed Delves tier. It will no longer be possible to obtain a Rank 4 curio without having obtained its’ previous ranks in order. Players will still need to best higher Delve tiers to unlock higher curio ranks. To help balance this, curio upgrades can now also be obtained from a Delve’s Heavy Trunk, and using a Restored Coffer Key on a Bountiful Coffer guarantees a curio to drop.

They royally missed this mark for me.

I don’t see the problem. Delves are my endgame. This is what I’ll be doing for the next six months. I expect new stuff when a new season starts and for things to be reset. So I’m good.

And yet there was thought and reason behind it. You just don’t like it, apparently.

Blizzard isn’t gonna let you blast the delves with fully upgraded curios during a new season. Let’s be real.

More power to you then. I won’t be running them and am thankful its not mandatory.

I expect many things to reset, but unlocking difficulties is not one of them. Its also not my primary issue with delves; that is Brann’s AI. If I could completely turn off NPCs and still solo I’d be a lot happier with them.

I expect to start at lower difficulties and work my way up— like I do with any content. It’s one unlock across the entirety of all Delves, account wide. This is the progression we have in Delves.

You’re more of a M+ and raid type of person, which is totally cool, so this type of progression may not be your favorite, which is totally cool too.

More than ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS GAME… I just want Brann’s FREAKING hitbox fixed. ANYTIME he’s on the GD screen, his massive box prevents you from interacting with anything unless you rotate the camera.

Looks like I’m going back to getting him intentionally killed, and racing ahead to actually be able to play a bit without his useless butt. (lol as A$$ being blocked)

The weird thing about resetting the tiers is that they didn’t even make them harder.

I was doing up to tier 11s and I was shocked when I saw I was knocked back down to tier 4. I thought, “Well, maybe Tier 4s are harder now.” Nope. It’s just busy work. I have to blast through a bunch of unchallenging delves just to get to where I was before. How is that a great game experience?

You expect to be reset so that you’re forced to redo content at the original difficulty just so you can climb back up to the content level you were already geared for? That’s dumb.

In the PTR, they admitted T9-T11 was balanced up to the highest myth gear available in season 1. Must’ve went overboard, probably will pull a hotfix and make things nuts again like they did the second week of last season.

I’ve played WoW on and off since TBC and I still dont know what a weak aura is.

for me it was a mushroom, brann looked like a super jacked toad.

He had a deerstalker for me. Sherlock Holmes he definitely isn’t.

Didn’t Reliquary fuse with Explorer’s League to form Dragonscale Expedition back in DF? So both groups are kind of defunct.

The real question is why do we need to level up Brann, a character that’s taken the lead in not one but two raids.

He was a paid carry.

Then why do I see npcs in Dornogol with the title “Explorer’s League”?

Source on them both being defunct? A joint expedition does not mean one faction vanishes from the face of the Earth.

We havent even seen the leader of the Reliquary in how long? Yet Brann is following us around everywhere.

What gives?
