Front page of this board is ALWAYS full of complaints. That isn’t really proof something is bad.

if you don’t want to be there long do a lower layer. problem solved. blizzard made lower layers give more soul ash for that very reason and then people expect to be able to clear a layer 8 the week it comes out.
This poster has made the same point that i’ve been making, yet apparently this doesn’t add for “meaningful discussion”. This is a great system, it caters to both casuals and hardcore so I don’t see an issue with it.

Yup, they applied their encounter mentality to something that was supposed to be whacky and fun + hack 'n slash. That was in Alpha. What I see now is far from enjoyable and the typical Blizz iterations done to 'em.
But beware of the ones that get hurt 'cause us bad bad bad players who don’t want to face roll, actually put up opinions with what Blizz sold Torghast as and what some saw people play during testing.

Higher levels are more difficult in regards to their tuning.
Isn’t this normal for an RPG?
Heroic raid bosses have more hp and deal more damage with their attacks than a normal raid boss.
Seems pretty basic too me.
If you can’t beat the top level just do a lower one and still get the majority of the soul ash?
Why is the expectation that it should be easy for low gear?

You can simply type in “Torghast” into Reddit search and only get those results, also Reddit and GD do NOT represent the playerbase at all.

Every post you mentioned on Reddit, even on GD right now amass to MAYBE 10k people at max. We have more subscribers than WoTLK at this point, so do you really expect 10k people’s opinions to represent over 10 million?
Which information do you have that people are enjoying Torghast? At least I linked you screenshots of ~10k people not enjoying it. So far your only source is “my butt”.

It’s a commercial success, clearly folks not only enjoy Torghast but the expansion as a whole.
World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Battle for Azeroth, has just over a week under its Azerite belt after what seems to have been a successful launch. In fact, Blizzard is reporting it as the fastest-selling expansion ever released.
Battle for Azeroth’s launch last week sold over 3.4 million day-one copies globally. Blizzard points out that it makes it one of the fastest-selling PC games to date
Clearly this is proof that people enjoyed Azerite, Island Expeditions, Corruption, and Horrific Visions.

they nerfed camping the maw with war mode and far less people were vocal about it, sorry bud torghast is going bye bye and so are you
I enjoy a challenge, not cheap mechanics designed to dictate how people are supposed to enjoy the content. Being constantly harassed by “enemies” with 40% health buff and 40% damage buff every few seconds out of combat is CHEAP and INFURIATING. They took something that could have the potential to be enjoyed and ruined it with needless buffs to enemies and nerfs to players make this trash content more like a crappy job than an enjoyable game. I would rather pull all of my own teeth out than do this garbage over the next 2+ years this expansion is live. The rest of the expac I’ve enjoyed thoroughly but Torghast is utter hot trash now - gg blizz
People always enjoy current content and want it changed a month or two later, hence why GD and Reddit is not a good bar of judgement for how the game is or how it should be in the future. People will always complain to complain

vast majority of people i’ve played any extended amount of time with in wow, majority of which actually enjoyed wod-bfa(which i had major issues with) dont’ even do forums, reddit, etc. most people don’t that i’m aware of. we’re a certain, strange subset of players and i’ll never claim my opinion is equal to the majority of the wow player base even if the majority of forum users agree with my opinion. they are different peoples.
