Sometimes tooltips are wrong, but if this is indeed meant as a catchup mechanic, then it is working as intended. Also, it does not give a point of renown.

It’s a weekly and if you do the weekly dungeon quests, you get a lot of anima for those.
The problem is there are two 1000 anima quests in Ardenweald, and no one realizes that the OP is talking about the ‘Fair exchange for a soul’ quest, which is not part of a catchup mechanic. It’s the Queen’s Conservatory quest that lets you purchase a seed to plant each week. It’s 1000 anima, and it shows as a daily but stays in your log like a weekly. There’s an issue with it being labeled as a daily, the OP is correct. It’s actually a weekly, though, and behaves as one.
What if we break it down so it is repeatable 12 times a year and call it our monthly?

Wow the sarcasm is strong with this one. Doesn’t change anything I posted except remove the weekly dungeons and the weekly pvp quest.
You still have access to at least 870 off dungeons and wqs. That last 130 can be done by the mission table, rares, treasures, etc…
Heck if its on a Tuesday like today you can factor in those weekly objectives.
So maybe chill with your sarcasm and read my entire post too hmm?

Curious. I am a bit perplexed but I think I see where an issue lies.
In Revendreth, I received a Calling that was for 1000 Anima, and it is listed in my covenant sanctum tab in my quest log. And it expires in 2 Days and 15 Hours. It is not a daily, but nor is it a weekly.
But that seems to be what is confusing people. It isn’t a daily or a weekly. It’s something in between.
Not once have I ever actively farmed anima. I always hit the weekly requirement just by doing my callings every day.
Just go grind the Azer… I mean Anima, yeah Anima.
While we’re on the subject of Anima, last week I had a quest from a mythic dungeon that gave 750 Anima, was that a one off or is there another one this week?
Its an emissary now called calling for the most part. The terminology is poor for it though.
Isn’t it a weekly of have I been doing this wrong?
