Once you run through all the mythic dungeon and done the loremaster, collect a set of honor pvp set in 6 day. All you left is dragon racing and renown farms. None of these give gear or player power so they arent important. But I think everyone is burnout from shadowland, no one wanna do chores
A dozen explorer packs nets maybe 30g, and takes longer to acquire than a calling did to complete. Are you’re seriously suggesting that as something comparable in terms of profitability?
If you fit ALL of that in 6 days then you should expect to be waiting for more things to unlock. You didn’t mention professions, which is 100% tied to player power right now given the way they are, zone events that grant party buffs like the soup event, tons of stuff to unlock with rep, rares, the bazillion random quests that are ALL over the place.
There is a freaking ton of stuff in DF.

I can’t get over the (small) size of the continent. takes like 60s to fly from one end to the other.
Profession are not tied to player power, the gear it make is replaceable from normal raid. It is a waste of money right now, i am doing skinning and herblism, it work fine. This isnt wrath, you get passive bonues from professions.
Yea, I guess if you want to just complain about everything all the time that’s what you’re going to do. Maybe find a new game I dunno. All I know is that doing quests for Tuskar is a pretty big contrast to being stuck in the Maw with NO GROUND MOUNT. I’m having a lot of fun so far.

gear can be crafted to 418 which is Mythic quality

Really? I’m a stay at home parent with a ton of free time and I’m on and in game from basically 7am until 2pm and then again for most of the evening when my wife comes home to play and I have a ton to do. I’ve focused on 1 single character. I work on hunts, I fish, I craft, I explore, I’ve done achievements, world bosses, hunted rares. I fly around getting backpacks, and digging dirt. I do advanced races and try for gold. I quest. I’m not sure what is so “barebones” about this to you.
One gets you usually 200g + or so. Check the prices of the grey items in them. You get a small stack of them just like callings.
Feel free to check yourself. Wowhead has all the grey items and prices.
Good luck with that. I am just playing solo shuffle and selling raw materials. Anything that does not improve character performance in combat does not increase player power. I am fine with it, I enjoyed mop…
Well, the continent is massive. The zones are some of the biggest they have ever made. It only seems that way because dragonriding is so fast. If you used a normal speed mount it would take much longer.

I am not complaining, I am just point out facts. Shadowland was bad , doesnt mean this expansion going to be great.
Tbf only mythic raiders can get that gear.
It takes 60s cuz you are going 830 speed in dragon riding. If you were on a normal mount at 310 it would take longer. Try traversing the island on a ground mount or by foot.
We never stated anything about pet battles. Pet battles is actual content to play.
For 5% of the players in game, sure.
But it is still content
So was Torghast.
And I have Veilstrider, so I did it all. But, it’s not so much what content it is, it’s what content people like.
