Keep in mind that what’s currently Mythic is just a rename of the old Heroic.
And Heroic now is just a rename of old Normal.
Current Heroic & Mythic have been around since Wrath.
The added difficulties are what are now called LFR & Normal. That’s the surplus. If you want to remove stuff, start with those. (Although I don’t see the need.)
