But maybe they got better?
we dont have enough bandaids chief.
You can have the fox dudes. Blizz can give us Ogres.
Great, now you done it.
You say “Horde customizations” and Blizzard hears “more stuff for belves.”
Im just going off facts instead of opinions on this, sorry
Alliance got KT as the first, what’s the second? Mechagnomes? They’re a slightly altered gnome model. If you’re counting Velf as a unique model as it is new to the Alliance, Horde also got Nightborne as an altered model from Night elves even though they share their animations, so if you’re counting Mechagnomes or Void elves for this, you’d have to count them as well since that is also a unique model. If anything, their model is wholly unique whereas Velf is just ported over Blood elves.
Also the poster you responded to didn’t say anything about “unique models”, they said “good allied races” which is highly subjective but considering that Mechagnomes are the lowest played race of any of the allied races by a large margin, that might necessarily factor into what makes it a “good” race as viewed by the majority of the community. Also considering Mechagnomes cannot wear gloves, boots, or legs they objectively have less access to content vis a vis transmog, as collection and fashion is a large part of the game for much of the community, which likely plays into why they are such a minority of characters even 6-7 years on from their inception.
Mechagnome and vulerpa are modified gnome and goblin skeletons
Kul tiran are 2 new models
Zandalari are 1 new model, and same female troll model
Hence why I said alliance got more
I have both a ZTroll and DTroll and they are different models. Look at the stance of Ztroll versus Dtroll. That is a modified model.
Ok so then alliance have 2 new models, horde has 1
Alliance has 2 modified models, horde has 3
Can we just give you guys all the man’ari eredar and call it square?
Horde has Male Nightborne, Female Nightborne as modified models that share animations with Night elves. Vulpera share the Goblin model, but it is modified due to new bones in the tail, with some new animations. Ztroll Male has new animations and a unique skeleton, Ztroll Female has unique model and shares animations with Female Dtroll.
Alliance have Male and Female Kul Tiran with unique models and animations, Mechagnomes as a modified model that shares animations with gnomes. And Velves which share a model and a skeleton with a Horde race, giving them nothing unique.
All of this being completely granular, and besides the point. I don’t think people care that Void elves do not have a unique model, or that Vulpera share a model with Goblins that is very slightly modified to include a tail.
Mechagnomes have less content, as adumbrated above. Making the point easier that they are a “less good” race with access to less.
-Darkspear Troll beards (like Vol’jin himself)
-Grimtotem paint for Tauren
-Fel Orcs, as a whole
-Upright Forsaken
I’m just tired at how much stuff elves get, and the rest of the races don’t get anything.
Undead Elves, High Elves, Black-Eyed Night Elves- they get all the customizations. In addition to having multiple races already, like Void Elves.
Elves get put on a pedestal and they all know it, lol.
I want new voice and dance options for every race.
I feel like the expansion of customization options ended up amounting to very little. A new skin tone and a couple really bad haircuts doesn’t feel like much and some races didn’t even get that. Adding bald to every race doesn’t even count as customization, that’s a default.
Horde needs:
- Dragonmaw Orc skin for Orcs
- Red skin for Orcs
- Blackrock Orc skin for Orcs
- Felblood elf skins (red and blue) for Blood Elves
- Felborne skin for Nightborne
- San’layn customizations for Blood Elves
- Grimtotem skins and tattoos for Tauren
- Feltotem skin for Highmountain Tauren
- Forest Troll skin for Trolls (if we can’t get them as playable race for Midnight)
- Beards for Trolls and Forsaken
But what about the Feltotem HMT?
Added
And the fact is the Alliance got diaper gnomes, which is unforgivable.
I don’t understand the Darkspear not having beards and the Forsaken not having straight backs (when the BFA guards did).
The BFA guards didn’t have straight backs, they were just perpetually posed “At attention” which has them standing up straight.
If you force them to move, by agroing them as an Alliance character for instance, they’ll immediately revert to the typical Forsaken animations, hunch and all.
Then just do that but all the time. They did it with Orcs.
