This color would be perfect for void elves hehe
precisely. but it was a dk haircolor and when those colors were unlocked, belfs got that, frosty blue, silver white (which was helf npc color or dk color only), and a couple other unique dk haircolors. velfs never got dk haircolors. our dk haircolor is the same as our non dk haircolor, so the unlock didnt add any velf options, but it did give belfs a couple velf like colors. i dont care about haircolors, other than white and black, to be honest, but those are also belf colors. i am completely out of ideas.
I want to be able to do something about the mane on worgen females; it clips through hoods, and I don’t see any reason my worgen can’t have short hair the way her human form does.
More hairstyles in general would be nice, actually.
And scar options that are independent of faces for every race, please. Also body scars (I know those will be trickier because of how Blizzard mirrors the body texture). Let me make my melee toons look properly beat up.

I see the blood elf ones on either end as being more blue with lavender highlights, The two in the middle seem much more Lavender then what the belf’s have.
the nelf one is a lilac color.
that one on the left belf is frosty blue.
there’s also a lavender. go to barbershop and check every color. you might have missed it.

all the colors that are available to Belfs numbers 6 and 7 to me are still more blue with lavander highlights. then we could just both percieve the hair as being a different color.
huh. i thought i had discovered a new color. i already have the turquoise on 2 of my belfs. coulda sworn there was one color that looked almost gray on the menu but was that lavender color. turns out its just frosty blue lol
I would kill for most of these, but especially the new faces and the mana hair/hands.
All good ideas that I hope are in the realm of possibility; hopefully soonish for AR -Tho I really wish they would keep a small team focused on new options to add every expansion-
But I do really wish we got a big hairstyle exchange like we got on Cataclysm; the sharing of assets between races was just awesome; a lot more options with little development time, and with all the new options added on SL, there is more to use than ever.
I personally like my velves to be voidy with purplish hair but I NEED that silver for this hunter
All races:
- New hair styles
- More long beard options
- Scars independent from faces
- Blind eyes independent from scars
- War paint and tattoos
Worgen:
- Jewelry options, such as earrings, necklaces, fang rings
- New ear options, especially more wolf-like ones and ones on top of the head
- New hairstyles
- Roses, particularly one like the tauren flower
- Rich black fur color
- More scars
- Fang options
- Snout options (like Vulpera)
- More “feral” eye colors (slit pupils)
- Upright posture for males
- The big controversy: tail options
Personally, my biggest requests and hopes right now are as follows
-
Normal hair styles for void elves (NOT blood elf styles)
-
More beards for male void elves
-
Normal hair colors for void elves
-
Voidy hair styles for void elves to counter balance all the normal stuff
-
Blue eye option for mag’har orcs (seriously why is it only alt universe female warrior go’el who hates Draenei gets to have blue eyes and no one else)
-
Long tail option for female lightforged
-
More hair styles for everyone
-
For the love of all that is holy can we get female gnomes and dwarves to have eyebrows that match their hair color? Why is that so hard? Female goblins got it, the female gnome model shown at blizzcon had pink eyebrows to match her pink hair, it’s clearly possible, let us escape brunette eyebrow land.
I’d love more jewelry options and hairstyles/colors for the Pandaren. Maybe let us actually change the hair color to affect other parts of our hair instead of this single strip in the front?
The customisation changes I’d most like to see are:
-
Allow Blood Elves, Nightborne, and Void Elves to have multiple eyebrow lengths options like the Night Elves (and ears for both the allied races since Blood Elves already have that).
-
Separate Night Elf males face and body tattoos. (I love the Elune Moon symbol on the bicep but like an untattooed face.) Also; let us choose the tattoo colour like the female Night Elves already can!
-
Both Orc species to share hair/beard options.
-
Both Tauren species to share beards.
-
Pandaren already split the moustaches from the beards they should separate the sideburns out too to allow more variety.
-
Golden eyes for Zandalari: since their Night Elf and Blood Elf descendants can have it as well as some Paladins. I think it would suit them and look amazing!
-
Give Dwarf females a copy of their existing Deathhawk hairdo with the awful looking sideburns removed.
-
Fill out the Lightforged Draenei’s full beard so it doesn’t have that weird little gap and the back is actually there rather than it just looking like a paper sticking to their face. Also: give the main Draenei that beard too once it’s fixed.
Gnome hair colors for mechagnomes!!
DK - get rid of smoking eyes and just make them glow.
Pandaren - a shorter tail so it doesn’t look like a vulpera.
Kul Tiran, Pandaren males - non fat option.
Tauren, Worgen - no neck hump.
Shoes for all the claw and hoof feet races.
Lots of good ideas in this thread. Definitely support more customization options.
Something I can’t come up with is Lightforged eye colors… they are so thematically restricted…
I will always and 100% be against this and blond hair.
The tendrils/tentacles are part of the hairstyles and what makes them so unique and it just makes me feel like people are still trying to change void elves at their core (let’s face it yall just want your VE to look more like a high elf and want 0 signs of a void elf being present- its blatantly obvious).
I will NEVER endorse blonde. That would literally just make us a copy/paste of blood elves and that just so…
Tacky and cheap.
We should be asking for original hairstyles and colors. I want MORE hairstyles that are voidy and tentacle like. I’d love some more gradient fades like we already have.
