Feeling this with longer draenei tails rn. Ever since TBC Iāve wanted it like crazy, then the image was datamined in WOD and we still didnāt get it. New customization is probably the best thing that will have happened to WoW in a very long time. Just hope we start seeing fewer mog restrictions too.
Itās the kind of hair that Greasers are popular for. So, yeah, it is.
I think it would be really cool to get some Human and Dwarf hair/beard options for our Velves. Thalassians, Dwarves and Humans all go way back. If Blood Elves have a few of their styles, I donāt see why Velves canāt.

Pronounced draenei head crests for females and actual horns for males. Red and blue eyes for undead. Maybe red eyes for death knights too.
Since you mentioned classes. Allow demon hunters to customize their metamorphosis form based on different demons.
Some of my wishes are:
In general-
Long hair not sticking to our characters back. Doesnāt have to be anything major, but on models like the female Kul Tiran it bothers me because how much she sways when she runs. I also canāt stand shields on them because of that.
More hairstyles/colors.
Jewelry for all!
Night Elves -
Darker skin tones, really dark.
Black, Gray, Pink, Gold, Silver hair colors.
Leaves/flowers in hair.
Eyebrows for males with more than 1 nice face.
Wizard beards.
Highborne options.
Dwarves:
Frostborn dwarf customizations.
A braid hairstyle that doesnāt look like a floppy sausage link. It would be nice to have a thicker HD braid like some of the male dwarves beards.
More hair colors like a blonder blonde.
Gnomes-
Tons more (exotic) hair colors. Purple, orange, blues etcā¦,
A āhalf leperā skin. Someone who didnāt get it quite as bad? So their skin wouldnāt technically be falling off, hah.
Dozens more skin colors.
Worgen-
Upright posture for males.
All white fur option.
More face options and eye glow options for females.
Actual hairstyles (Alpha mode)
Separate customization between human/worgen form.
Draenei-
Long tails (getting them, yay)
Everything that they have told us so far.
Wizard beards.
Velen body option (more than likely wonāt happen)
The red skin would be nice, buuuuut I doubt that one.
Pandaren-
Different faces.
Tails for males.
All white fur options.
All dark fur option for females.
Muscular version of the males would be nice.
More fierce looks for both of them. Make them badass.
Humans-
Even more rl races!
Wizard beards!
Options for younger looking men that donāt look like roid raged middle aged men.
Elderly options that actually make sense for both sexes.
Female run style would be nice to have them take a look at.
Horde Iām really not too sure aboutā¦ minus wizard beards, more hairstyles, jewelry etc.
Goblin-
The dark skin version we see in HFC.
Gilbin
That freshly exploded look.
Orc-
Red skin
Pure black skin
Trolls-
Everything looks great so far. The frosty tribe skin tones would be nice.
Blood elves-
Beardsā¦ facial hair in general.
Tauren-
Taunka option would be nice, but doubtful.
Grimtotem options
Undead-

Hair
- All current styles in game, given to all races and allied races.
- Hair color separate from all other choices and selections, such as face paint, facial hair color, eye color.
- New styles: Mohawk, Tri-hawk, faux hawk, high and tight military style of several varietyās, froās, bald, buzz cut, dreads of different length/style/thickness, corn rows, under cut, and a few more anime styled.
Eye Color
- Slider for all races, using the whole color scale.
- Races that can be paladins get optional gold glow.
- Races that can be Warlocks get a optional fel green glow.
- DKs can choose (not based on current spec) red blood, unholy green, frozen blue. Possibly a fire style as well.
- Eye color separate from all other choices.
Facial Hair
- Long flowing beards for Nelfs, All dwarves, and All humans.
- New modern IRL āvikingā styles added. As well as gruffer biker types.
- All males of any race get to choose to have facial hair. Currently Darkspear trolls dont.
- All models in game selectable by all other races.
- Color slider, not tied to any other choice.
Tattoos and Paint
- Would love to see a selection of not only face art, but separate body art. Again with all art having a separate color choice. Not this pattern is blue, and this one is only red.
- And not just racial tatts and body paint, but not some that also fit the class choice as well. Like Shadowmoon Magāhar Orc Death Knight selection. Like the one already in game, but frozen blue or murderous red, or shadowmoon purple and dark blues.
- Selection of runes and scars as well.
Body Types
- Dire Troll options for Zandalari and Darkspear trolls. Using the already in game dire troll option, and the blood mother priestess blood troll for females.
- Skinny Kul Tiran options, as well as typical human sized option
- The Belf Alpha (htt ps://wowwiki.fandom.com/wiki/Blood_elf_controversy) model its slightly smaller, perfect for Mage and priests.
Racial options
- Like more than 3 shades of blue for nightborne, more than 1 rune antlers for HM Tauren, more scars choices.
- Racial ghost wolf forms, like kodo for tauren, ox for pandas, raptors or long bois for trolls.
- The unused racial tones for magāhar clans. Ordos/Yuangol and Taunka for Tauren.
- High Elf options FOR BOTH VOID AND BLOOD ELVES.

Can you clarify what you mean with this? Iām curious what highborne have that are currently not possible for nelves.

In my mind, very ornate jewelry. Like cuffs on the arms, jewels/gold running through their hair. Like Azsharaās nelf form in the game. āPearlesqueā skin (kind of two toned). Maybe arcane tattoos. If you google highborne you can kind of see. Very regal.

Different body types would be nice; varying degrees of musculature to having a bit of a gut. For those who arenāt Pandaren or Kul Tirans I mean! Also scars and tattoos, maybe even customizable armor to some degree? hmmmā¦
Customizeable armor would be pretty cool. Maybe even customizeable weapon scaling, that way people who want small weapons can have them, those who want bigger weapons can have them.
Though that might require a universal weapon scaling applicable to all player races? I dunnoā¦
I want my character to be ALL BEARD. Thatās itā¦ just thick beardy goodness putting the beat down on everythingā¦hic!
All these wonderful ideas, the vast majority of which will never be implemented because all the most unique and best looking stuff is reserved for NPCs and because the WoW team is just about the laziest, most corner cutting-est team of developers Iāve ever seen.

Pink hair for every race
More hairstyles and facial hair for every race
Eye color should be a separate choice from face
Tauren need the updated Taunka heads and styles
Blood Elves need updated Fel Blood Elf skin tones from BC
Worgen should get an updated version of the feral looking worgens from before Cata
Forsaken should have posture options
Orcs should have Fel Orc
Draenei should get Manāari
Goblins should get Gilgoblin
If customization is added to the Allied Races:
Nightborne should have the option to have Falādorei features minus the legs
Void Elves should have the option to look more like traditional High Elves
