Ret was heavily nerfed on Friday. No one is getting free rating. It’s on par with the other S tier melee. That being said, judgemet dispel needs to be removed from the game.
Yeah, please give me the link where you can find the historical win rate of each class. If you don’t know how to find it, don’t ask me to include it. I am not a data miner and data analyst from Blizzard PVP balance team. All I can access are check pvp, drustvar and other website. And also I admit my analysis is not complete and perfect, but it shows something that Ret is OP
Nope, my data is from Friday after nerf to Saturday 24Hour. You can see the last picture, Ret still gained a lot of CR.
The “data” suggest ret was/is now a stronger melee class. That is all.
And your data only represents R1/blizzcon players. Beefdaddy is Mes.

I don’t need to your data is enough u just didn’t read it right.
Rn ret is S tier. Same as resto shaman and arms warrior.
It was SS tier before the nerf meaning it was too op. Like how disc priest and demon hunter were before their nerf.
Rn dh is s tier and disc is prob at a solid A.
My question is why are you mad ret is S tier? It’s not an easy class to play and requires set up and using utility on teammates to be good.
Be honest ret isn’t op you just aren’t happy ret is s tier and wish it was back in b tier.
Thanks This is very solid and I will mark it
Maybe Arms, all the others melees are not S tier
Disc already received quite a large nerf. Do you know for certain that the disc number was from before the nerfs or if a large chunk of them reached 2400+ before the nerf.
Generally these posts never attempt to take into account people who haven’t queued in months, like a lot of demon hunters and unholy death knights. Or discs who are leveling their monk/rsham.
Dh s tier… just on the hands of r1 players lol
Alright then a tier but they are still a solid pick for solo shuffle
They already got nerfed pretty hard.
Crusader strike now heals for 1% of health instead of 2%
Justicar’s Vengeance now heals for 3% instead of 6%.
Word of glory heals for 24k non crit.
They can now be disarmed even if using final verdict unlike previously.
Freedom can now be dispelled which means they are much easier to kite.
So one of the main issues they had which was their ability to not die took a huge hit.
I guess the only thing to nerf at this point is judgement cleanse which is pretty nasty vs some specs.
You’re over exaggerating. Spell ward shares a CD with BoP. BoP, LoH, Bubble, all give forbearance and can’t be used back to back. Typically bop/ward/loh is being used on teammates and bubble/sov/dp on yourself. While I will say that one minute sac is a little bit over the top ret needed these survivability buffs because they were a wet paper towel. Forbearance is a huge issue and especially when you’re forced to play with holy pally. If forbearance wasn’t a thing I could understand feeling like it’s too much.
Unfortunately blizzard is in love with their class fantasy of paladin being a hulking tank and crawls around on all fours until he can catch you and do big damage. I think the tuning did help but they could probably use a little further nerfs in the multiplier/proc department to bring those top end massive spikes down a bit. Unfortunately they have to be tanky especially now that mobility is arguably the worst in the game.
But comp go is at least 30s now. You can not kill a player outside a go unless it is huge dampening. However, if you have a ret on your team, you always win mana because the damage + MS
Judgment clense is pretty toxic and has no business interacting with divine toll.
Thank you for a detailed and data based feedback, you are 100% correct about every statement you’ve made.
What is sad is that those forums are infected by trolls who type stuff like “I was only OP for 2 seasons”.
It’s pathetic how instead of working all together to improve a game that we love, they choose to ramble about useless things.
Well we were dog water bad before this and people want to play the new class rework. Nothing has really changed with judgment dispels after this patch. Paladins are suppose to be about utility. You just want us to be your punching bag again. Nerfs were enough…
Except for the things that did.
Apparently not.
