Time to shop for some new insurance. It is time. I have had this company for 6 years or so. Unfortunately, loyalty oft times means you pay more nowadays, and it is advised to switch insurance companies a few times a decade. Ex has gotten insurance on her old car for the boy, so I cancelled it today and found out how much just my car is. Lets see if I can find a better deal.
Edit: And nope, sticking with what I have for now.

I really dislike that trend. I would rather stay with a product or employer long-term. But usually the only way to do better is to switch.

Woke up today, ready to crawl back into bed. My boss last day before surgery today. Gonna buy her lunch.
New supervisor doesnt start for a few weeks so myself and other supervisor will be burning the place to the ground for a few weeks. Errr i mean keeping things going for a few weeks.
Kinda excited to see what new boss brings to the table. How they can help us elevate things etc. And get me some bloody staff.

Hmmm bloody staff. Sounds like a horror film. We will call it âThe Mast of Deathâ. Ok that might be a bit out there, but I prefer my staff to be a bit less on the bloody side, they do need to have at the very least a pulse.

As much as I love LobCorp, boy oh boy is it frustrating to be restarting constantly because I get a bad combo of Abnormalities. Everything seems so simple now. :c
Today is my Friday.
Had a meeting with administrator yesterday. I am taking the reigns on the stuff i am trained to do until new supervisor starts mid month. She told me this is my chance to make my mark, and she is counting on me to get everyone on board, as well as an opportunity to impress upon the new supervisor i should be their assistant.
Not sure if it was all just hot air or true, but whatevs. I will always do what i can do.

Happy birthday to the Trash TRS-80. It was announced on this date in 1977. I was a Commodore user, but I did know some plebs that had one of the portable models.
And also, happy 50th to Paul McCartneyâs band Wings.

I had a TI-99/4A (with a tape drive) for a hot minute. Then a C-64. The neighbor kid had a TRS-80. I still get nostalgic for the Commodore.

I also still have my Osborne 1. The first try at a computer you could take with you. Today we call them laptops. At that time, it was a whole new world.
