[CS Lounge] We're gonna teach 'em how to say goodbye

Guess that means its time to get dangerous.

Gah i wish that guy would shut up then again i need to stop responding.

Think its time to stop responding were not getting thru.

Yep. It’ll get locked up soon enough. The one poor mage lost in the throng of that one guild’s folks raging in, I just wanted to make sure they were situated. Plus the hyperbole of ZOMG YOU FIRED ALL THE CS STAFF AND NOW LOOK AT THIS DUMPSTER FIRE always irks the heck out of me. Otherwise I probably wouldn’t have touched it again. >.<

I wish they could change the profiles to those that go nuclear to the screaming goats from thor.

I can imagine them doing the following:

pizza the hutt employee - Can I help you?
Cuss-tomer - My pizza was burned. I want a new one.
PH employee - Sir, you need to go to Donimoes since it is from there.
Cuss-tomer - It’s pizza, you need to fix it.

Precisely. Dual purpose too. Some for me, some for a thank you package for the old man for helping me out while I’ve been laid up these past few months.

Lobotomy Corporation is a challenging game for me, apparently! Had to reset at 34/60 days because:

  • One Abnormality (the SCPs of the game) kept breaching after 10 employees died, and then consumed their corpses to become a giant, unstoppable beast.

  • Another breached because five employees died at the same time and was already a giant, unstoppable beast.

  • A third breached because those two breached, and because she’s an experienced mercenary with a natagama and shotgun, she’s really hard to take down.

  • Meanwhile, an outside force of cyborgs that also consumes any and all organic matter gets in the facility, and now all my employees are dead.

  • Sometimes the cyborgs are replaced with robots with circular saws, or giant masses of tentacles, or a scorpion-clown, but it’s just as often the cyborgs.

I re-tried the day probably twenty times before I gave up. :frowning:

I’ve been focusing on my characters on my main realm. I should be taking advantage of the leveling buff. I have a bunch of alts that aren’t 60 yet. I even have a few that aren’t 50 yet on my main NA license.

On my main realm I just got my last alt to ZM. :dracthyr_yay_animated: I haven’t touched the other 2 realms in ages and don’t really plan on it.

Oh muh gooses.

The carrots were delicious.

Sooooo, recipe time.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3

large carrots

  • 2

medium jalapeños

  • 1

small sweet onion

  • 2 cloves

garlic

  • 2

bay leaves

  • 2 sprigs

fresh thyme

  • 1 cup

apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 cup

water

  • 2 tablespoons

kosher salt

  • 1 tablespoon

dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon

granulated sugar (optional)

  1. Wash and dry the jars. Wash 2 wide-mouth (8-ounce) jars, lids, and rings in warm, soapy water and rinse well. Set aside to dry, or dry completely by hand.

  2. Prepare the carrots, onions, and jalapeños: Peel and slice the carrots into 1/4-inch-thick rounds. Trim the stems from the jalapeños, then cut into 1/4-inch-thick rounds. Halve and thinly slice the onion. Place them all in a medium bowl and toss to combine.

  3. Pack the vegetables into the prepared jars. Pack the vegetables into the jars, making sure there is a 1/2 inch of space from the rim of the jars to the tops of the vegetables. Pack them in as tightly as you can without smashing. Add 1 garlic clove, 1 bay leaf, and 1 sprig of thyme to each jar.

  4. Make the pickling liquid. Place the vinegar, water, salt, oregano, and sugar if using in a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the salt and sugar.

  5. Pour the brine over the vegetables. Pour the hot brine into the jars, filling each one to within 1/2 inch of the top. You might not use all the brine. Gently tap the jars against the counter a few times to remove all the air bubbles. Top off with more pickling brine if necessary.

  6. Tightly seal the jars. Place the lids over the jars and screw on the rings until tight. Sidenote here. I used an airtight tuperware as opposed to jarks

  7. Cool the jars and then refrigerate for 24 hours. Let the jars cool at room temperature for 1 hour. Store the pickles in the refrigerator. The pickles will improve with flavor as they age — try to wait at least 24 hours before cracking them open.

I have eaten like half of what I made and wondering how I will make the rest last without devouring it.

Next time I think I will add some sweet peppers to the mix as well.

I’ve been working on my allied race alts to get em up to 50 and get the heritage armor. That buff is amazing for that.

I’ve got one allied race to get Heritage Armor for (and one that I haven’t even unlocked yet - Mechagnomes). I really need to get things going. But I am getting the stragglers leveled up; I’ve finished a couple priests, a mage (and finished the Dragonwrath legendary). Pretty much all of my alts have at least some ZM gear.

And phooey! I see that the Winds of Wisdom is only on through Tuesday morning. Guess I’ve got a bit of work to do on a character.
