So apparently I won a 2nd place prize from Publisher’s Clearinghouse. $2.5 million, plus $5k per year.
And I’d only have to give them $500 to get it.

Ugh. Go to leave work and car will not start. Wait about 30 seconds and hit button again and very sluggishly it starts. Yay me. But no radio no infotainment screen, no bluetooth etc. Stsrted sluggish this morning as well.
Thats fine i think it is the battery. Call dealership and they tell me sure sounds like it let me check a couple of things. Ok go for it.
You are well under warranty if you bring it in we can hook it up to a test machine it takes about 2 hours. If battery is bad it is covered.
Well thank you for saving me about $150 or so. So now i sit and i wait.

Finaly found a 60day time card I think i found the problem they were changing the card from the traditional brown card to a more blueish one.

I contacted a cafe to deliver brunch to my friend who’s suffering from COVID. They agreed!
Day 1: Shorthanded, couldn’t do it. Understandable.
Day 2: Didn’t hear a peep.
Day 3: I followed up with them; they replied that they weren’t sure if I were still interested.
What a ball drop. If you’re not gonna do it, just tell me it’s not in your wheelhouse. Don’t just not do it and go passive aggressive.

New desk is built. The instructions were, how do I put this politely…horrid.
But figured it out for the most part. The cable management holder on the bottom I completely gave up on however. Simply just do not care to figure it out haha.
Now I have a headphone hook and a cupholder on my desk. And it came with a controller and game stand. Cool, cool. What I did NOT realize, however, is that the stand has a 4 port USB hub on it as well. Me likey.

Hope you all having a great night! Finally got my Ahead of the Curve achievement tonight. Thanks to my great Guild, Ex Inferno for helping me get it!
Also watching a forest fire here that started about 30 minutes ago. It’s on the north end of my city. But I can see it from my front deck as I live on a hill above the city. I really hope we don’t have a bad fire season like last year.
Last year we had a major fire if you look it up on Google - White Rock Lake Wildfire. It had several towns including mine on evacuation alert last year. It was a major fire - Close to 80,000 hectares in size.
Edit: Looks like BC Wildfire Service has control of the fire now. Cannot see much now from my place. Glad they got on it fast!

“Nice” and hot here today, with temps in the mid 90s. But tomorrow, it won’t even hit 80! Pull out the sweatshirts!!! (no, not really)
And if any of you folks are ready for a dog (or know someone who is), the Humane Society is working to re-home 4,000 beagles of varying ages.

4000 wow, I am very curious on how 4000 beagles became homeless. Also don’t be afraid to reach out to your local k9 clubs for help. The CKC and AKC have great resources for purebred dogs.
