I see you stalkin’ me, nelf.
In other news, I’ve just finished up my last set of systems checks for the evening, so aside from some menial tasks that I have to do and any possible trouble calls (which, if they happen, will undoubtedly come from Maryland), I have the next four hours to basically kick back, take my shoes off, and continue watching JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Being paid for one’s availability is the best.
It dropped for me the last day of the event last year, on this character. I only have one character on my EU account that is eligible to get the mount drop.
I’m getting a lot closer to getting flying in BfA zones on that account. Then it’s Draenor and Legion flying to do. Those should go quicker because it’s quicker to plow through mobs in the lower-level zones.
I’ll have to give Poldark a try then.
I just added the PBS sub to Amazon Prime so I could watch Wolf Hall (I’m a bit of a Tudor nut) and saw Poldark is there too. Jamestown is also on my list as well as Sanditon (gotta love anything Austen)
Ugh! I can’t wait for next Darkmoon Faire. I just accidentally abandoned my Darkmoon Glowfly.
Good morning folks! Hope you’re having a good Overwatch league opening weekend so far!
Eile, that’s some good stuff to look forward to. Thanks.
Heh, I guess two of the conditions that we like to see that makes a good station; 1) a good DJ that has depth in their library and vocabulary, and 2) gotta hear some Triumph.
Ms Becky, I learned about WLLZ in October when I was in state. Boy, back in the '70s and '80s, that was the station to turn to… next to WABX (RIP).
Have a great day all. We’ve about 5 inches of white fluffy stuff in downtown. I’m sure Tuef is enjoying a tad bit more .
So I currently work as a truck driver, for past 6 years, and about a year ago I got onto a new account where I start and end most days at the same place, leaving from there to deliver grocery products to Wal-Mart stores.
I got up today to check on my next load and got told it won’t be ready to go for at least two hours. Great! I go back to the truck and set up my laptop and start playing WoW. I boosted my only Worgen and started on the heritage armor quest. I ran into a snag after summoning Goldrinn, and after putting in ticket I saw a rogue who was there when I got there, coming out of the portal. So I asked him for help and he said he had to relog to get Goldrinn to reappear. I did that and was able to progress. I slapped the princess awake and then got to about Nice% complete on the that stage when I got a message that my load was ready. So I debated whether to complete the scenario, or get to work, and figured I wasn’t that close to finishing so I logged out and went to pick up the load.
It wasn’t ready. They messed up - load 31 was ready, but I was assigned load 21, and the guy who sent the message got mixed up on that so when 31 was ready he sent me a message.
So now I’m sitting here, not playing WoW, waiting for this load to be ready. How’s your day going?
Our house isn’t particularly new, some of the homes in our neighborhood are older, this one dates from 1909. The trim is all American Chestnut, a beautiful wood. Unfortunately, American Chestnut is no longer available.
The trees are beginning to make a comeback from the blight that nearly made them extinct, but the lumber isn’t available yet and isn’t likely to be in my lifetime. Of course all the trim and doors were covered in several coats of lead paint and had to be stripped and refinished. The plumbing and electrical also all had to be replaced, and so on.
After almost 45 years we are finally far enough down the list to replace the windows in the entryway.
The window on the landing to the upstairs is stained glass, and the two small fixed windows in the entryway obviously at one time were but had been replaced by pebbled glass like you sometimes see in bathroom windows.
Not knowing exactly what the originals looked like we designed our own and contracted to have them made.

Hiiiiiiii Gnomies!
nets a bunch and launches them to Hawaii via Gnome made rocket
Oddly specific.
I’m not sure ‘enjoying’ is the word I’d use.
It never ceases to amaze me that the worse the roads get, the less willing people are to go in the weather, the more glee they seem to take in having pizza delivered.
“Man, the roads are icy, dozens of cars in the ditch. Sure am I glad I don’t have to drive in this. But let’s see how this 19-year-old in the '93 Hyundai handles it!”
That’s what they pay the delivery drivers the big bucks for!
I won’t lie, I’ve ordered pizza in inclement weather, especially if I’m feeling poorly. >_> I make sure to tip well in those cases, though.
I only ordered pizza once during a snow storm and that was by accident as it wasn’t supposed to snow until late at night and it started right after I ordered. I felt terrible and gave the delivery guy a big tip.
One of the few things I enjoy about living in Texas. Yeah, they can’t drive in snow, sure, but there’s almost never any snow to speak of.
We had snow here in TX 2-3 days ago.
You call that snow? Pssh. Only accumulation I saw was a dusting on my grass and roof.
That’s not snow. That’s Texas being indecisive.
You got snow? I got cold rain.
I had to brush snow and scrape ice off my windshiled off my windshield on … Thursday? morning.
it was sunny today, though pretty cold.
i’m debating atm about whether to just get my Druid to lvl 30 and get Travel Form, then work on my Paladin and get him to 40 for the free mount, THEN work on my Hunter…but then i remembered the pet loyalty thing, and i’d have to have a ton of food around it’s level, to keep it happy.
