I finally went through the characters I made in Remix and deleted five. I now have an Earthen.

You had to delete five characters to make one?
Yes. When remix started I made a pile of characters. I deleted one and couldn’t make another. So I went a played remix. Next time I tried to make a character I still couldn’t. So I counted all my alts from the Realm selection page. I had 69 at that point. I haven’t really touched my Remix characters since Remix ended.
I mailed or put in my Warbound bank anything not bound to them and put their gold in my Warbound Bank. I moved that character to the Favorites section of the Character Select page and deleted it.
I created my Earthen. Now at the proper 65 characters.

Sorry I’ve been so quiet the past little bit. I found on last Friday that I was walking into a full time position (still temp status, but full hours) starting this past Monday!
It’s hopefully going to be a 1-year contract, but it’s a complicated system and the person I’m replacing could return at any time.
That said, I’ve got another interview today where I’m hoping to get a permanent position (wage +benefits!!) and not have to worry about anyone deciding to replace me. So here’s hoping it’s a good interview.

Really big SIGH coming in …
So I filter a LOT of my emails through Gmail so that they can be properly sorted into folders. I was having issues with some of the filters (and there were a lot of them), so I went for the nuclear method and just deleted all the filters. It was my intention to then set them back up again as new emails came in to Gmail.
Anyone want to take a guess as to what happened when I did the nuclear method?!?
ALL of the emails that had previously been sorted (since beginning of time, lol) were promptly removed from their existing folders and thrown into the Trash bin.
So now I have almost 14k emails in my Trash to sort back through.

Out of curiosity, how does one have 14,000 emails? It drives me crazy to see 20 emails.

I’ve had this Gmail since 2009. I did have a lot of emails stored away to save. Quite a bit were subbed ones for various topics. Then a lot that were just plain junk that I get sent (which were already sitting in Trash).
I do still have my very first email account from 1996. It was a local ISP that was bought out by Earthlink. I have been paying for it since 1996. I still use it a little bit – but this Gmail is my main email (so it gets sent a ton of emails every day). Mostly just keep it in case someone from “back in the day” needs to reach me, lol.
I also have separate email addresses for all my Bnet accounts. All they ever see is mail from Blizzard.
