So, I’m not sure how it happened (it wasn’t something I booked), we ended up on the 50th floor of the Hilton (Canada side). That’s the top floor and the views were breathe-taking!!!

I don’t know, can’t play is can’t play; the reason you can’t play is sort of irrelevant.
I doubt it would be any more, not any less either mind you, but not more.
Waiting another two weeks to play, although it’s minuscule compared to the two years (ten years?) already waited, because of the anticipation seems worse.
Except that most players who are stuck in the queue don’t post at all. I would wager a large number of them would post if they couldn’t create a character on the realm of their choice, even if it currently has an 11-hour queue.

dammit, deleted the post…
What I did post was that a prospective buyer of the apartment complex, I live at, decided to grill me on my knowledge of the bible and if I go to church. Well, that kicked my anxieties up a few notches and I’m thinking I’ll be looking for a new place in the future, not by choice.

Seems like the authentic Classic experience. For my part, I was able to log in (of course, that was at 5am) and play without issue or delay until maintenance began.

Got some time in, bounced back in couple times after reaching first town just to get stuff happening. Didn’t have any queue probs myself.

Good morning. :yawn: Not a restful night at all. I don’t know if it’s chemo-related, but I’ve been having muscle aches all over. Lower back spasms some, then feels fine, biceps feel like I carried heavy weight, then nothing, shins feel banged up, then nothing. I’m not supposed to take anything but acetominophen (tylenor), and it does nothing for that.
I’m working from home (since Monday), play WOW Classic on breaks and lunch and after. Non-peak hours means I’m in when there aren’t queues, and all my family/friends have varying queues when they start. Last night was guild creation. >_< No one is under 30, but they were discussing names like BEEP BEEP IM A JEEP (quickly nixed) and one related to Queen Azshara’s people and a bicycle (which I nixed hard). Ended up as Gnome Punters. Not great, but I’m not the leader - I’m the spouse’s cousin’s sister-in-law, or something like that.
