Been pvping all evening on Ravenhawk here. Nothing but Epic BGs. I’m tired.
Had a long hard discussion with her yesterday afternoon. I di not like the outcome. I am hurting.
However,
I support the why of it now. When she expressed she felt she was neglecting me and not putting the effort in that I deserved, and said she needed to focus on her and her mental health, all my anger vanished. We talked for about 20 minutes after that and we still want each other in our life, but it cannot be more than friends. I can respect it
I dont like it of course, but i can respect it.
I did a bunch of the side-quests on my main. I have my skinner over too. One zone left of flight upgrades to get. I don’t know if I’m going to push the quest chain or the flight points today.
The good thing about skinning is you don’t have to purchase the training to get it. Simply skin the first thing you can and you automatically get DF skinning. I wish they would have done that with mining as well and fishing, but they didn’t.
I had a rude shock when I started moving the army over to the Isles. I thought I could dive right in to all of my gathers after my LW/Skinner went through first, but then the nodes denied me. The skinning though right there in that initial bottle-neck of drake killing? chef’s kiss I hung around and nearly maxed out my skinning before actually turning in a single quest.
Only part of the alt army I’ve taken over so far is the skinner/lw. I want to get the main quest-chain finished before I start bringing over the masses.
Yeah, completing the campaign opens up a lot of stuff for your alts but I figured that profession knowledge points eventually get to be quit expensive so taking my 60’s to the island to learn professions and then hopping over to the DMF would be helpful in the end.
Got to “break” mom out for an appointment. It was an hour and a half drive. Doc says everything is healing nicely, and he won’t need to see her again, unless something drastic happens (which it won’t). And she gets to come home Tuesday. So good news all around.
Got my 2nd lvl 70. Now to figure out what class I want to level next. Possibly my DH or my warrior.
The new Dead Space comparison video has my hype elevating.
First semester of College is coming to an end. 3 more assignments to complete (one is almost done) and I’m rocking it.
3 more semesters…I can do it!
My main now has dragonflight maxed out and world quests opened and alt skip opened. A hole pile of side-story quests to finish.
I was surprised at the number of side quests this expac, I was able to hit 70 just by doing all of the ones I came across in Waking and Ohn’nara alongside their main campaigns. Was weird entering Azure at 70 lol.
Lillistraza’s was too precious though.
Decided after quite a few deaths on my warrior to try DH and it is so much fun with that leveling and easier.
I keep getting distracted by the side quests and usually end up having to look for the campaign quests I lost track of.
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

And in honor of National Brownie Day, I present Katharine Hepburn’s Brownie recipe:
1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate (or 1/2 cup cocoa)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 325.
Melt together 1 stick butter and 2 squares unsweetened chocolate. Take the saucepan off the heat.
Stir in 1 cup sugar, add 2 eggs and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and beat the mixture well.
Stir in 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and walnuts (if used).
Bake the brownies in a buttered and floured 8-inch-square pan at 325°F for about 40 minutes (20 minutes if using muffin pan).
I’m getting my updated covid booster later today. I waited to get it since they said if you had covid, you needed to wait at least 3 months after you got better for it to be effective. I had it for half of July so waited.
If you haven’t gotten it already, look into the flu shot, too. It’s supposed to be pretty nasty this winter.
But I will say one of those two (and I think it was the flu shot) made for a pretty bad day after. YMMV.
Hullo all! Just got outta surgery. All went well and I’m off for a bit of lunch before going back to sleep.
